Hi all,

It's been a difficult summer with lots of friends having babies. Some fell pregnant really easily, some took a bit of time to get there. Ofcourse, im still really happy for them all!

My sister in law had a baby boy last night.. and although I am overjoyed for them, I feel so sad and sorry for myself (and partner.)

We've been trying for #1 for a while.. and nothing is happening. Not a whisper of a bfp. And Im so worried it's going to take us a long time to get there.

Not really a post for advice, just feel very alone and guilty. I wonder if anyone else is feeling the same with a wave of lockdown babies making an appearance. X

@Frandler yes, I think a lot of us are feeling the same. I have been trying for over a year and not a hint of a second line in all that time. My friend who started trying the same time as me (and got pregnant immediately), has had her baby and is already talking about baby No.2!

I have had tests done more recently and it turns out I have PCOS, so I am getting some treatment to encourage ovulation. But it still might take me a long time to conceive. I think we need to keep in mind that the vast majority of us WILL go ion to have a baby, even if it takes a while.
