Think I ovulated late...?

I have 29 days cycles and usually ovulate CD15 but forgot to test this month due to starting a new job. By the time I realised it was CD24 and I decided to test because, who doesn't like to test something at least a few times a month?? Anyway, it was positive so fine, figured I just ovulated really late. Is it possible to be that late?

AF is now 2 days late. I expected that because ovulation was late, but

Oops! Posted too soon! Was just going to ask whether anyone has experienced similar! And should I then be expecting AF to be 9 days late too?

Hey :) I find that when I ovulate later than normal my AF arrives later too. I'm similar to you, clockwork cycle and usually ovulate on day 14 and AF arrives 14 days later. This month I ovulated on day 18 so I'd expect my AF (or not 🤞) to arrive on day 32

Yep @eldermother I didn't ovulate until cd23 this cycle when it's usually cd18. I usually have 31d cycles. Period was due on cd35 but didn't arrive and got my bfp. I guess the egg needed to be that bit more mature. Fingers crossed for you xx

I sometimes ovulated a few days late but would then usually only be 1 or at a push 2 days late for AF. Used to happen every few months. Now I’ve had two kids and I’m BFing my cycles are all over the place!

But should have also said that with both babies I got pregnant on cycles where I ovulated late. So maybe more mature eggs like pp said

Thanks all! I did a test yesterday just in case but it was negative so I'm just hanging around waiting now! Cd33 today so still a few days for AF to show up.

I can't really remember it happening before but I haven't ever paid this much attention before!
