@LemonDrizzle44 I’d actually be happy if it delayed my ovulation! I ovulate on CD11 or 12 so quite early. Not sure what dose to take initially I need to do a bit of research. Quite a bit of what I have read relates to IVF rather than standard TTC.

I think I must have ovulated last night, what do you all think?

I had a "high" cheap OPK in the evening of CD12, low the following morning, peak in the afternoon of CD13 and then still strong this morning (CD14).

Temping this morning not ideal, toddler was on me like a rash all night but after I'd been dozing for a bit my temp was 36.6 and it never goes above 36.4 in follicular phase...

Yes looks like it but you may need another rise in temp before can confirm. If you can be bothered might be worth dtd one more time!

I’m having a month off and prob next month too annoyingly. We were away seeing family over ovulation so only managed to dtd on cd12 and cd16.
Next month I’ll have to wait until I’ve had hsg, they refused to let me have it this cycle because we dtd on cd4 and apparently there’s a chance I could be pregnant ?! I explained that there was no possible way I could be as my period had just ended but they didn’t want to know 🙄

Ergh that's so annoying @SlothMamaToBe cd4 are they serious!! 🙄

@SlothMamaToBe I'm okay thank you. Had my second bHCG test today and just waiting for the phone call with the results so feeling pretty anxious. My tests are still not as dark as with DS at the same point which is worrying me but I'm feeling quite nauseous and my BBT & RHR are holding up so I'm trying to keep positive

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter @Hopefulhedgehog I know right 🙄 - it was almost offensive after so long of trying ! I tried to tell them I know my cycles and when I ovulate!

@SlothMamaToBe Only the first result is back which was 46 at 14dpo. The nurse was quite surprised and said it was low 😞 Just got to wait for the next one now and see if it's doubled. Hopefully I should hear this morning. I can't believe they wouldn't do your HSG because you DTD on CD4, that's ludicrous!

5dpo today and I've had a huge dip in temperature. I always have a small dip to around 36.45/36.50 but my temp this morning was 36.35. Is 5dpo too early for a possible implantation dip?

@SlothMamaToBe that's crazy they wouldn't do it, esp as you've charts to back it up!

@LemonDrizzle44 maybe, me plus a few others on another thread tested positive at 8dpo so would need to have implanted at 5 or 6 dpo to get that I think 🤞

@LemonDrizzle44 I don't think it's too early. I think it's too late for a fallback rise and I'm pretty sure I implanted with DS around 6dpo so a definite possibility!

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 Thank you. I'm so anxious waiting to hear back. My test was the darkest it's been this morning but I can't shake the fear that my HCG is increasing too slowly and it's going to be ectopic. I know it sounds horrible but I feel like I can handle it being a miscarriage as I've felt from the start that things aren't right so I've not let myself get attached but I'm terrified of losing my left tube because of my right ovary not working

@polkadotpixie hcg can vary wildly from pregnancy to pregnancy. I was suspected ectopic previously (high hcg way above the thresholds for a scan, but nothing could be seen not even a sac) and they told me that it's when your hcg is in the thousands that it can risk rupturing ( ie 5.5 weeks onwards) so even if the worst happens you'd have time for the medication etc.

But honestly it's 14dpo it's early, that's within the normal hcg range so hopefully all is okay

@polkadotpixie I'm sorry you're still worrying so much. Please try and remember that ectopics are rare - even if your HCG is rising too slowly, that's far more likely to mean that it's not a viable pregnancy and you'll MC than it's ectopic. I know not exactly reassuring, but hopefully not your worst-case scenario.

@LemonDrizzle44 it could be implantation. But equally just an oestrogen surge, mine often dips back to the cover line. Hate how there's never a definite answer to any of this!

I'm not confident yet that I've actually ovulated. OPKs strong but not as strong as CD13. Either today's a fallback, or I'm not yet in the TWW?

Bad news for me unfortunately, HCG only increased from 46 to 67 so it's definitely not doubling. The EPU nurses are waiting for the doctor to review my results and then they'll ring me with a plan of what's going to happen next 😭

Thanks everyone 🥰 I spoke to the nurse in EPU and I have to go in tomorrow to see the consultant and have more bloods and a scan (although I'd have thought it was too early, I'm only 4+3?) as they're concerned it could be ectopic due to me having Endo which is a risk factor apparently. Then they'll decide whether to watch and wait and monitor me or give me the methotrexate injection

@polkadotpixie well at least they're keeping an eye on you, that's reassuring. Hopefully you're just a slow starter this pregnancy in terms of HCG 🤞🏼 waiting around wondering what's happening is terrible though, I really feel for you!

I've had a scan and as predicted they couldn't see anything. I've had another bHCG blood test today so hopefully the number will start dropping by itself 🤞
