Thank you everyone 🥰

I've told DH, he thinks I'm worrying about nothing. I think my test from this morning is maybe sliiiiightly darker than yesterday's?

I'm more worried it's ectopic than anything given the low HCG Confused

That line defo looks darker today than yesterday. I think that line looks good for 13 dpo! ❤️

polkadotpixie · 15/08/2021 07:32

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter Today's is the bottom one, do you think that looks lighter? I thought it was a bit darker

acupofteamakeseverythingbetter · 15/08/2021 07:35

Sorry yes bottom one is today, 14dpo? Defo darker than the 13 dpo one. When I was pregnant I tested at 15dpo and my line was similar xx

@polkadotpixie I'd say don't worry about ectopic, go and enjoy your day out, and test again in two days. It's so hard to tell from tests day to day, and the 13 dpo may just have had a different level of dye hence why it was lighter. Your line today doesn't look faint or pale to me

LemonDrizzle44 · 15/08/2021 08:40

@polkadotpixie that line today looks darker to me. Fingers crossed for you! HCG should double every 48 hours so as @A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 says test again in a couple of days.

WantStickyBean · 15/08/2021 09:53

@polkadotpixie I'm pleased you've told your DH and your line is darker today. I don't see any reason to be worrying about an ectopic at the moment - those aren't faint lines considering you're only 14DPO. Hope you have a lovely day.

I'm getting a bit fed up this month - just had my 6th consecutive flashing smiley Angry. Temps still really really low. As much as I hate the TWW, I'm quite ready for it to start now.

Excellent news @polkadotpixie !!

@Thisriveriswild any update ??

Thisriveriswild · 15/08/2021 13:17

@polkadotpixie that line is definitely darker than yesterdays so that's great 🙂!

@WantStickyBean what cycle day do you usually ovulate? I was getting fed up this month as it was two to three days later than usual, and waiting for it to happen seems like an eternity!

@MrsTwentyNine nope not yet - I've attached my chart 🙂 temps are fairly stable. Not having many symptoms except for the odd twinge in my lower abdo, and I've had a terrible head cold since about 1 or 2dpo, a horrid sore throat, stuffy nose and headaches...think I am just a bit run down!

I'm feeling a tiny bit more confident today 🤞🤞🤞

Sorry for the daily updates, it just really helps my anxiety to talk to other women and no-one knows apart from DH!

@Thisriveriswild still a really textbook chart!

I normally ovulate CD13/14. And this month is a really good example of why I temp.

Yesterday (CD12) I had a strong OPK in the afternoon. Normally I'd get static smiley the next morning and that would be followed by 2 days of v strong cheap OPKs. But this morning I'm still flashing smiley and LH has dropped right back down so no idea what's going on there. Totally reliant on BBT to tell me when/if I'm ovulating, will be really upset if this is an anovulatory cycle.

WantStickyBean · 16/08/2021 06:46

@polkadotpixie what a lovely cross-post. That line today is SO much stronger, hope it's helping you worry a bit less for a bit.

ContadoraExplorer · 16/08/2021 07:36

Don't apologise @polkadotpixie, that's what we're here for! That is definite progress and a nice strong line 😊

@polkadotpixie line is definitely getting stronger, I hope that gives you some reassurance xx

Hopefulhedgehog · 16/08/2021 08:52

That’s looking very positive @polkadotpixie

New cycle, new supplement here! Just ordered some ubiquinol. Anyone tried it? Not really expecting it to be miraculous but feels good to just be doing something new

acupofteamakeseverythingbetter · 16/08/2021 09:02

@Hopefulhedgehog is that the same as Co-q10? If so, I've been taking that the past month too. I'll try anything going at this rate😂

BevisPatel · 16/08/2021 09:03

It is great news!

Yes I did, between 200mg and 400 my a day as part of the It Starts With The Egg plan. Felt really good on it, an energy boost, didn't need my coffee every day
polkadotpixie · 16/08/2021 10:29

@Hopefulhedgehog I took Ubiquinol too, it's meant to be purer and more effective than CoQ10 (& you pay for the privilege for sure!). I took 100mg for the first 3 cycles then upped it to 200mg this cycle

Yes I think ubiquinol supposed to be more absorbable version (aka more expensive!). I’ll give anything a try

acupofteamakeseverythingbetter · 16/08/2021 11:02

Thanks @Hopefulhedgehog I might look into that and get some. I'm already spending a fortune on ovulation tests, pregnancy tests, supplements and acupuncture so another thing to add to the list won't make much of a difference! 😂🤷🏻‍♀️🙈

Hopefulhedgehog · 16/08/2021 12:26

@acupofteamakeseverythingbetter I bought the Jarrow brand as it was one of the ones recommended by it starts with an egg but also one of the cheaper ones I could find. 120 x 100mg tablets were £47 so still pretty expensive! They better do something!

acupofteamakeseverythingbetter · 16/08/2021 12:31

Thanks so much @Hopefulhedgehog I'll take a look at those x

LemonDrizzle44 · 16/08/2021 16:17

@polkadotpixie that's a good line progression

@Hopefulhedgehog I started co-Q10 200mg this month. It's meant to be similar to 100mg ubiniquol which is just more readily absorbed. I feel like I have more energy with it. I've read somewhere it can delay ovulation. I've taken it with myoinositol (to regulate my cycles) and ovulated in CD13 this month (compared to anything between cd12 and cd19). Not sure if it would be later if I didn't have the myoinositol. I'll see next month. I'm considering stopping myoinositol as I read it can lower AMH which I don't want to do.

LemonDrizzle44 · 16/08/2021 16:19

Also Holland and Barrett had the co-Q10 200mg in their penny sale. Bought the first one for £30 something. Second one for a penny. That's enough for 2 months.
