My chart this morning , 11dpo 😬.
I stupidly did a test in afternoon of 9dpo which came back negative , I’m hoping it didn’t mean anything.
What are your temps looking like @acupofteamakeseverythingbetter ?

Thanks @hopefulhedgehog it was such a relief to see the heartbeat and see it moving around. Today feels so much more positive than yesterday was.

Well I think my bfn at 9dpo has put me off testing 🤦🏻‍♀️ , so I’m going to try my best to wait until Friday. I’ve got tickets for a gig so will need to know if I can have a drink or not anyway!

One of my lovely colleagues announced her pregnancy today - I cried in the toilets… now I feel like an awful person that I couldn’t really feel happy for her just sorry for myself. Ugh, this TTC is mentally draining

@Hopefulhedgehog I’m so sorry , you’re right, ttc can be brutal. Hope you’re ok 💜. 2 of my uni friends have announced pregnancies recently too, one of them didn’t even have to try and it happened very quickly. It upset me but I was also upset I couldn’t just feel genuinely happy for them because my own pain (jealousy I guess) overshadowed it 🙁. BUT I think these feelings are also normal and understandable too.

@Hopefulhedgehog omg I completely get that and understand. I hate that I feel so upset and jealous when someone announces a pregnancy. Especially if it was a "happy accident" feels so unfair. I hope you're ok ❤️

My sister (twin) has told me she's started trying for her second baby and I just know they'll be pregnant before us and I'm dreading the day when she tells me because I want to be happy but I know it will make me feel incredibly sad.

I've also been invited to a baby shower in August and I don't know if I'll have the strength to go if I'm still not pregnant by then but I don't want to be a bad friend.

TTC really does bring out all kinds of ugly feelings but everyone on the thread completely understands 😘

I think I was more upset because I hated my own immediate reaction which was upset/jealous/feeling sorry for myself rather than being happy for her.

It’s cycle 8 for us so I can only hope it’s a lucky one

@Hopefulhedgehog completely normal reaction to have but no one wants to feel those feelings towards someone else but it's hard to control in that situation. Those feeling don't make you a bad person! Your feelings are valid!

Where are you in your cycle? I find that I cope with pregnancy announcements differently depending on where I am in my cycle. If I've just got AF I'm more emotional and upset than if I hear the news when I'm in my TWW. I don't know why, I guess because in the TWW there's the element of hope ✨🤞🏻

I’m cycle day 10 today in my fertile days (hopefully). Expecting ovulation on CD12/13 so aiming to DTD tonight and next few days…onwards and upwards

My temp dipped this morning 😕. Not feeling. That hopeful now. Ughhh this waiting is so hard!
How you doing @LemonDrizzle44 and @acupofteamakeseverythingbetter ? Have you tested?

@SlothMamaToBe I've had a cry this morning 😭 my temp dipped this morning too but I've been awake since 4.30 so am discarding my temp but not feeling hopeful as I've woken to orange spotting/discharge which is what I got last month just before my period.

I haven't tested and I'm not hopeful either this month 😣 why is this so bloody hard!!

It’s absolutely rubbish isn’t it - especially when it’s looked so promising !
On a positive note, discarding your temp is def right thing to do though, so that doesn’t count. 🙏💜

My discarding the temp is basically me sticking my head in the sand 😂 how long have you been trying? @SlothMamaToBe we've only been trying since December but ever since my miscarriage in Feb I've just felt an overwhelming emptiness that I feel desperate to fill again. TTC really can be so tough x

I’m so sorry about your miscarriage @acupofteamakeseverythingbetter 😔💜. I know it can take some time for our bodies (and minds) to recover after that experience but hopefully you are not waiting too much longer.
We’ve been trying around 17/18 months 🙁. Never thought it would take us this long. DP got semen analysis soon so we may get some answers. Both have children from previous relationships so it doesn’t seem to make much sense.

That's such a long time, so sorry to hear and so frustrating that you both have children from previous relationships but it's still not happening for you. Have you had tests too?

I feel like it's a waiting game for us because I really don't think it will happen before the year mark and I'll be able to go back to the doctor to ask for a referral for testing. I've had a few tests done privately and I have low AMH which is worrying 🙁

Just checked CM and definite red tinge to it - almost certain I’m out now 😔

Sorry to hear about your AMH - would it be possible to take result to doctor and push for things to be done quicker because of that ?

@SlothMamaToBe yes I think I will but I was waiting to see if it would happen for us this cycle but think AF is on her way. I'm going to give the doctor a call and speak with her but I'm pretty certain she'll still make us wait but I can only try x
