How much dtd in fertile week?

Just that really. My SIL told me I wasn't having enough sex 😂 we did every other day and then 3 days on the trot leading up to O day. How much does everyone else do? 3rd cycle of trying for me.

I used to do OPKs and once I got the signal we dtd that night and 36 hours later.

So that's less than me then. We've gone for 2-3 times a week and then every other day in fertile week and then like I say 3 days in a row ending with O day. SIL reckons I should do it twice on O day and once the day after too. I mean I work full time and we have other kids (one was conceived soon as I got my coil out before we officially started trying and the next was conceived when that one was 4 months old while I was breastfeeding and before I'd had a period) so didn't think it would take much trying this time round.

Every second day.

When we wanted a girl we stopped having sex three days before I ovulated. When we tried for a boy we had sex on my ovulation day. This one we wanted a surprise so didn’t track my ovulation and had sex in our normal pattern.

When I was ttc I did every other day from cd10-cd16, then every day until positive opk (anything between cd17-cd21). One a positive opk, every day and then twice in the day.

It worked for me. (I conceived 5 times in total, although 3 were early mcs. The other 2 were my dds.) So we dtd twice around ovulation time to conceive. Any other times were just spontaneous for fun which we preferred to the "required" times

You are having more than enough sex. Every 2nd day is completely enough to conceive, every day certainly is!

I got pregnant with 1st just having sex one time.
Now TTC number 2 and DTD few days in a row once I get peak on my sticks.

MORE than enough. We just dtd 4 days in a row from day before peak to day after o. 7th month trying (3rd baby) and we'd tried all sorts from every other day, 3 in a row, you name it. We hit it hard and it worked. But you're going for it.
Unless you're loving the lead up sex, don't worry too much on the every other day before peak.

We have used the SMEP method with success every time! Sadly the second resulted in a MC, but has worked each time.

SMEP works well. I've caught 4 times using it. I was dtd every day in fertile week last two times (but I was unhealthily obsessed). We also used preseed.

Also second pre-seed!

We dtd 4 times this cycle and got our bfp I chart my basal body temperature and use fertility freind charting app, so I know I mostly ovalate on cycle dy 14 and rarely cycle day 15 , so what we do is dtd once on day 12 then twice on 14 and once day 15 we also use consive pulse fertility lube or pre seed (both worked on both of my pregnancys)

hey @Starrr123 this is old now but not in the month of this thread, weirdly 2 months later we had decided to lay off the pressure and were much more casual about it and got pregnant in the September. Good luck!!
