Cerazette period every 2 weeks?

I started the cerazette mini pill on the first day of my period, my period ended last Tuesday and now I seem to be having another period a week after it ended, I gave birth 8 weeks ago So I’m wondering if it’s the mini pill making me bleed this way? Or is it something else, I did have sex last night but it wasn’t the first time since I had the baby, feel so down.. anyone any ideas what’s going on ?

It will probably be a mix of your hormones after birth plus the mini pill. Hopefully it settles down for you. Cerazette stopped my periods for a few years and then I had the mirena coil

I had similar when I went on Cerazette after having a baby. It took 6 months for my cycle to calm down then I had regular monthly periods, just as heavy as when off the pill and with horrible acne as well. As soon as I could I went back on the combined pill!
