obsession sperm shelf life question

hi, on my second 'oh you better start shagging day' according to clearblue which probably means i have or am just about to ovulate. dh was leaving on sunday so we did it on sunday morning. can the little blighters really swim about for 2 days? oh and i am well aware i can just wait 2 weeks and just see but humour me!

its up to 5 iirc? and yes, its true

apparently some of them can swim for 5 days... its worth a try!

also apparently the slower sperm are more often X than Y, so if you get pregnant from having sex several days BEFORE you ovulate you're more likely to get a girl. i conceived current preg on the day i ovulated and its a boy, but don't know what other people's experiences are...

I've heard it can be up to a week for super sperm!

i'm pg with a girl but we had sex loads...my theory is that because we had it so much the sperm was waiting there when egg popped out!

i knew getting a monitor was a bad idea, if possible i am even MORE obsessed. heres hoping they are good swimmers and the good odds for another girl is quite cheering.

oh and good luck! only prob with obsessive monitoring, which i did too, is that i am left forever with the 99% certainty that ds2 was conceived while my inlaws were asleep (i hope...) in next door room... ewwwww
