TTC #2 over 40

Just wondering if there's anyone else in this situation!

DD was born September 2020, and I was 39. I got my period back in March once we started weaning her, and have just started TTC again this month.

I'm still breastfeeding her quite a bit, but since my period has been back for a good few months, I'm hopefully fertile and ready to go again!

The reason for trying so soon is that I'm 40 now (I'll be 41 in March next year) and we would like at least one more. DH is a young buck at just 31, so the time pressure is from my side.

If anyone else is in a similar position, feel free to park yourself here!

I’m 41 (will be 42 next March ☺️). Trying TTC number 2. Got my first one when I was 39, too.
On my cycle 6 with my opks.

Hello, similar position here too. I'm 40 and TTC no. 2 with no. 1 born when I was 37.

Hi @EishetChayil similar boat here. 41, had DS May 2019 and been TTC #2 since June 2020. Had a natural miscarriage at 8 weeks in April 2021, I'm still bfeeding too and also have a younger hubby who is 36 so like you time pressure is from me! There is another thread for women 40+ TTC #2 here;
