AF or implantation 🤷‍♀️

Hello ladies, long post alert 🤦‍♀️
In April I had a MC and AF has been pretty regular since.
this month I had some spotting 3 days before she was due and the day after had some bleeding that was brown then did turn red, however I’ve only bled for 1 full day and now it’s only when I wipe again. I’ve had no clots or anything either which is unusual, My usual AF is usually 4 days last month 5. Could this be implantation or just a short AF, what do you think? Xxx

Implantation bleeding isn't real. Spotting is more common in non-pregnancy cycles than pregnancy cycles. It's just confirmation bias when it happens in pregnancy cycles.

If it's gone past your period due date, take a test. Such a short does sound unusual if that's not your norm, but they can happen from time to time.

There is no scientific data to support the existence implantation bleeding. Luteal phase bleeding happens more frequently in non-pregnancy cycles than pregnancy cycles. It's typically a response to a drop in progesterone at the end of your cycle but can also be due to the mid-LP oestrogen surge. If you are pregnant, then your progesterone can drop, which causes spotting, before the hCG recovers it.
