Hi all, I just want to say for those of you who have been at this for over a year, gone through losses and just feel like giving up, keep going <3 My DH and I have been trying for 18months and went through 2 losses. After struggling to understand what was going wrong / right I wanted to jump on here and say that we're am pregnant (yay!) and I want to share my story as it may help someone out. I stopped eating gluten. I have a mild form of IBS and after my second loss I was concerned I had some hormonal imbalance and have been gluten free again for approx. 9 months. Thankfully the thyroid assumption was nothing to worry about but my doctor did mention IBS being something that could react to gluten and that I was most likely gluten sensitive. I cut down on my carbs. I didn't go full on keto, could never do that haha but I did look to what IVF doctors recommend to women who are going to go through an egg retrieval and a common piece of advice is to be on a low carb diet so I thought hey why not? Wtf do i have to lose? (LOL) I started focusing more on myself. I got back to regularly exercising, started taking myself on coffee dates, didn't get hooked up on every single twinge or symptom, and tried to separate myself from other people's journeys because mine was different. DH was taking vitamins. The conceive plus combo set. I wish you all so much baby dust and look forward to receiving the same support through my next TTC journey <3
