Hello, at the weekend I had two consecutive days of slightly faint but definitely there positive pregnancy tests, one clear blue one frer, along with symptoms I had with my first pregnancy of fatigue, weeing lots, strong sense of smell and really tender boobs. This afternoon I started bleeding, currently fairly lightly. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do next, obviously if it is a miscarriage there's nothing anyone can do but am I supposed to ring the GP to get a miscarriage documented somewhere? Or any bloods to confirm it or anything?

Are you able to contact the early pregnancy unit, they were really good with us when we had bleeding with our first. I assume they’d also document if it’s unfortunately a miscarriage. Hope all is ok, keeping my fingers crossed for you that all is well xx

Thanks for your reply, I wasn't sure about the epau with being so early and not having contacted a midwife or anything yet. I've had a look at my local one though and they say it's all GP/midwife referral so I will give my GP a call tomorrow and see what they say. Thank you

I think you go to a and e if the bleeding gets heavy, otherwise wait a week and test again. It’s possible to bleed very heavily and have good outcomes and less and have sad ones. I’m sorry it’s so hard now.
