TTC while waiting for recurrent miscarriage referral

Hi
Following a chemical pregnancy last week, I called EPAU and they are going to make a referral for me tonthe recurrent miscarriage clinic.
They have advised this can take 6months.
I'm impatient and still want to keep trying in the meantime. Do you think if I fall pregnant they will still offer me anything like progesterone or aspirin without having seen me at the clinic? I'm feeling so low about it all today, and feeling like I can't decide the best way forward

No they will not offer medication if you have not had the testing, so getting pregnant before you see them is a risk.
However if you wait and they find nothing wrong and offer no medication anyway, then you have essentially wasted 6 months (or 9 months in my case).
It's a risk either way! x

Thanks for your reply, that's what I thought would be the case 😔

Very sorry that you had to wait 9months

It was 9 months including the results of the tests, but was a very long wait to then be told they had no answers.
I debated not waiting, but felt that if I got pregnant and lost another one before getting the results I would feel too guilty.
Hopefully it won't take as long for you and they manage to give you some answers x

Must have felt very mixed getting those results back. I hope it means you have every chance at a successful pregnancy.
That's understandable. I hope I will know the appointment date soon so I can decide how long I'm comfortable waiting

I had multiple miscarriages back to back and without testing they set me up on heparin injections, high doses of folic acid and progesterone. I say go for it, they will absolutely help you keep pregnancy. I had a blood test to make sure I could have the heparin injections and that was it x
