2 years in…in the middle of the 2 week wait again. Feeling so defeated. Anyone in the same place as me?

I was one of those typical ‘I’ll get pregnant straight away’ ‘it will be easy’ women. 2 years later and still waiting for our first bub. So frustrating, upsetting and just need to talk to people in the same position please x

Hi @Maddie94ckmay there's a long-running thread on this board for those TTC for over 1 year . Personally I'm 16mo into trying, but we have conceived once in that time (ended in MC at 12weeks). Its so shit, and Im sorry. It's super hard when all you want is your own little one.

Op have you and your partner had your fertility checked?

I'm 2 and a half years in and it's so draining

We have had a miscarriage during that time and since then found out I have got a few health issues, high thyroid level, PCOS so was very rarely ovulating (no periods) from that, I have been taking clomid from March this year, worked in March, not April so upped my dose and I've ovulated June and July but still nothing! Don't know what I am doing wrong, it's so upsetting seeing people around you being pregnant!

Does anyone have any tips when DTD or is it just pot luck?

@Raindrop25 the problem with irregular cycles is no real idea when you will ovulate. We try for DTD every 2nd day or at least every 3rd day (so 3-4 times a week). Should mean we hit one of the best days whenever the hell I do ovulate. However, for a cycle between 50 and 141 says, every 2nd day is a big ask and its exhausting

Thanks for the reply. Since I have been taking clomid my periods have seemed to have regulated themselves so my cycles are around 28 days. It's just so frustrating when you feel like nothing is working!
