Miscarriage warning

I received some devastating news and just want to let you know in case it affects you. I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks last year, bled and passed tissue in just under two weeks with no complications, so I thought . Year on later no BFP my consultant investigates what's going on down there and tells me that he believes my miscarriage led to an infection which has now blocked the ends of both my tubes at the end. I had no idea this could happen and I'm heartbroken. I wish somebody had followed me up but all I did was move on and bleed at the time. I am a rare case, but if you have a miscarriage please do make an appointment with a doctor and make sure you don't have a bacterial infection. My only options now are an operation to try and unblock the end of my fallopian tubes next to the ovary but that's a 50% success rate. Only alternative is IVF after that. I wish you girls all the best and lots of baby dust on your journey xxx
