Just wondering if anyone has experience of cramping for days after an HSG scan?
I had an HSG done 3 days ago and I’m still getting period-like cramps and brown discharge. My scan showed up a uterine polyp which is blocking my uterus - the nurse said she had to use a lot of pressure to get the contrast liquid even into the uterus at all and I’m wondering whether this is why I’m still experiencing discomfort?
I’ve also heard that some people are given antibiotics after the HSG and I’m slightly concerned that I might have an infection which could be causing the cramps??
