Hi,

I was hoping someone could help with a few questions I have. Currently trying to conceive but I have quite a long cycle of between 34 & 37 days. I came off the implant October 2020 and been having periods since Feb 2021, however my last cycle was 20 days late.

Has any conceived easily even though they have a long cycle??

Hey,

My cycle is average 35 days. I conceived (for the second time) last month after a 40 day cycle. I ovulated CD25 x

In case this is helpful info I had cycles of between 30 and 39 days for about 20 years. Three years ago a friend recommended evening primrose oil capsules (as I had terrible flooding periods after my second baby was born) and they changed my cycles to 28/29 days like clockwork. Such a change after so many years of changeable long cycles and I wish I’d had more certainty on cycle lengths pre-babies!

@H8theW8 @BadgerFace thanks ladies!

Me too with the long cycles. Anything from 35-50 atm and more towards 50 after a MMC in Jan. Had a chemical last month and with that one I ovulated day 31. Would love ways to shorten my cycle - will defo try evening primrose x

Yes, always had a long cycle and conceived easily.

I had cycles anywhere between 35 and 60 days. Was prescribed metformin by the GP which regulated them very quickly and got pregnant within a couple of months of starting those meds. Definitely worth talking to the GP
