Hey everyone.

I'm a day late - which can happen, but since coming off the pill I've been pretty regular. Had a few cramps and boobs are kind of sore but not sore as usual but that can be cos AF is a bit late - however cos of going to a party this weekend I've decided to test as I would usually wanted to of waited til I was a bit later.

Do you think this test is faulty? A bit of the neg dye missing and I'm sure I can see a bit of a faint line which could be a smudge?

It's a Sainsbury's cheap blue dye which was all I had at home.

Thanks!!

Forgot to add. When I held up to the natural light I could see a faint line making it look positive. Defo think I should maybe try a FRER?

I can see the vaguest of shadows where the positive line would be, but honestly I’ve never taken a blue line test that didn’t have some sort of shadowy line there when negative (and I took a lot Smile).

If it was a true positive and you are a day late already I would expect a clearer line, but def double check with FRER if you can! Hope you get the result you want.

We've not been trying long (baby number 2!) and I didn't do my OPKs this month. Typical!! So I'm just unsure if or when I would have ovulated.
I'd of expected a clearer line too.

I'll try a FRER, and if not wait for AF and go again next month! Thank you xx

Defo think BFN - this was a cheapie pink dye. As I say AF was due today, but I've been pretty regular or early... 😶

Hi @Harveybelle was the first test from Sainsbury's by any chance? If so they're notorious for fake lines ... I had them when I was trying for my son ... and they always showed lines. Broke my heart and I've seen hundreds of other women say the same.

Always stil to FRER they're the only reliable ones in my eyes. Even 7months pregnant a a clearblue digital still said not pregnant.... (did it for fun to see if it would say pregnant or not)

In general blue dye ones are crap to be honest babe xx

Thank you - I've heard the same about blue dyes - it was the only one I had. and yes from Sainsbury's! Popped out and got a cheap pink dye and it looked neg - so I guess AF is just going to be a bit late this month!
