I peed over the max line! Help

I'm an idiot. I've been scrolling endlessly on Google because I've been an idiot. Little backstory, ttc for 5 months just by having fun, 1 month seriously (fertility tracking and opks and vitamins) I'm on cycle day 21 and I'm a 26 day cycle, I ovulated 7/8 days ago maybe?
So I took a test a few days ago (clear blue early 10 hca detection) and it was a positive, however I did take the test apart but there was the faintest line while I was waiting (hence why I took apart to get a better look).. I will attach photos.
I then took a test tonight and it's a freedom £1 from Tesco 25 hca detection. But while I was finishing the last wee and dipping I noticed I went passed the dip line with ruined I held for 5 hours and there wasn't much movement on the display.. I thought It was a dudd and put it down.. I then an hour and a half later took another one and while I waited for that one, looked at the first one I'd done.
There's a bfp..
The other one i didn't hold my urine for, has an almost not line there, it's pretty much a bfn.... could it be it's too diluted?

Could peeing over the max line causes bfp? You will see where it went passed the max line as there's the dye run so I didn't go much over. But I still have..

Has anyone gotten a bfp going over the max line?

Christ I'm not making much sense I know.. I will test again and let people know my results

Calm down! Wait until you're a few days late then do a test. Then you'll get an accurate result.

I'm not sure what going over the line would do but it can invalidate the test so I suppose it's possible.

Do you wee onto the stick or into a pot then dip it in? I've found it's much easier to dip it in the pot as more controlled :) plus if you dip it too far you can always use another test in the same wee so the hold is not wasted :)

You are testing too early. Wait until 11dpo and use a FRER or clearblue early

I dipped! If I wasn't looking what I was doing while dipping until I realised I was quite over the dip line - I'm so annoyed I can't attach photos

So, an update. I've just done an Asda test 2 for 3.50 after holding urine for 5 hours again - and it's a negative. I'm sure I'm out this month as I'm due my period in about 5ish days..

I've had a lot of lotion cm today which that is unusual for me, but it could be down to the vitamins I am taking - so who knows I'll keep this thread updated only because I know how annoying it is when it becomes ghost and you never know if someone has or hasn't fallen pregnant with the same things going on haha

You're still super early though, was it an early test?
I used frer (the most sensitive and got my squinty positive at 10dpo)

I thought I'd just update on my little impatient little blog/question/post thing.. my period is due in 2 days on one app and 5 days on another.. so, I've done another freedom £1 test and found a line almost instantly came up albeit faint and it's stayed there.

I've convinced myself that until either AF OR a darker line comes that, at the moment it's still an evap line.. but I could be trying to stay grounded.

Who knows, I'll be back with an update in a few days. I'm becoming really cross that I can't attach photos because you'd see what I mean

I've taken another freedom test and there's again what I presume to be an evap line. Again, this line is there - barely visible but very much there..... however I used urine that wasn't held for very long

It sounds like you are pregnant then! Fingers crossed!

They don’t sound like evaporation lines. Do you have a reason for thinking that or just because they are pale?

Why are you not just buying some decent quality tests?

Did the line come up within the specified time? If so, it’s not an evap line. I’d recommend buying a decent test, maybe a digital one for clarity and do it first thing in a morning.

So I got a bfp last night. It's very obvious, the test apparently takes 5 minuets to develop and within a minuet the line was getting darker.
So I thought, I know what I'll test this morning... faintest line (came up in 5 minuets) but looked nothing I had to squint and put it to a light that granted it's become darker and there's colour but it's so faint.

I thought with fmu you'd get a blazing positive??? but I feel it's the opposite!!? - it's the coop acutest early test.. and I can't find any reviews to know how reliable they are.. ??

I'm now 4 days late for my period - there isn't touch wood any immediate sign she's coming either, but why the fainter line this morning?

I don't think I'm going to be satisfied until I'm fat gone enough to justify spending the money and being confident to take a digital

Please buy an FRER! You should be able to post photos now too?

If you’re late and struggling to read the tests I would just get a couple that says pregnant/not pregnant. Test and if negative, test again a few days after. I think you’ll still keep doubting the results if you stick with the line type

My bfp have been getting lighter over the past 3 days since the first proper one so I knew something wasn't right.

Absolutely gutted - but hey, I thought this would be of use to someone

Just posting to say I got a false positive on the tesco strip tests too. Won't be buying them again!
