Help! Did Evening Primrose Oil mess with your cycle?

Hi, Apologies for the panicked post! I started taking Evening primrose oil at CD5 through CD12, 1000mg per day. Reason is it is touted to help with cervical mucus which I have pitiful amounts of. I stopped taking it after I read some women had delayed periods or ovulation- did this ever happen to you? Silly me was supposed to take 2,000 to 3,000mg anyway for fertility, I'm hoping the small amount and not taking it the full follicular phase hasn't messed up my chances, would be helpful to hear others experiences.

Nope it never messed with mine! I would take it CD1 to ovulation (anywhere from CD11 to CD17), 2000 mg a day and had lots of EWCM but no cycle problems :) It's best not to overthink these things!

Ah thank you! I shouldn't be this worked up. This is month 6 trying after a loss, I feel like every month that goes by is agony and I just want something to finally work! That's where I found EPO but didn't want to overdo it and reduce my chances xx
