Question about ovulation

I posted the other day about me not using ovulation tests this month, out of curiosity I decided to do one yesterday as according to flo app today is predicted ovulation, the result was low and the same today, my cycle has been about 27 days and I know to get an accurate result you need to start testing on the day it says on the leaflet, what could this mean? That ovulation has taken place already, or is yet to happen?.

Hi,

Sorry to say I think it could be either that its's already happened or is yet to happen which isn't very helpful!
The OPKs pick up the LH surge and mine is just that, one positive test one day with two low ones either side.

Is it worth keeping on with the sticks for a few days? If it gets to the point where you're due AF within the week then stop and try again next month?

Just to check, when are you testing? I've found testing around noon after two hours of not peeing works best for me as apparently LH is higher in the day than at night.

@JuneySunshine, I've tested for ovulation the last two months so I had an idea when ovulation would be and to make sure we got the days right, but this month decided not to use them as didn't want to stress about it too much easier said than done.

Think I will keep up with them for a few days, according to flo app next due AF two weeks yesterday

I've been testing first thing of a morning, and it was evening when I tested yesterday, will test in the afternoon and see if that's different.
