Ovulation timings

Hi just a quick question about ovulation!! We have been trying to conceive for 2 and a half years now. We are using OPK, my peak was Saturday morning, and we DTD on the Wednesday, twice Saturday morning, Sunday morning, Sunday night, and Monday night.

Is this enough? Have we done it at the right time?

Did you keep testing with OPKs to watch it come down again?

I would say you have almost definitely done it enough. But if you’re like me I get three days of peaks and then ovulate the day after the last one. So if my first peak was Saturday I would ovulate probably the Tuesday. So today. So you definitely have the build up covered, but there’s no harm in another one for luck?

So I got my peak Saturday night/Sunday morning, then Sunday night and this morning it had pretty much gone again. Do you know when I will ovulate? Yeah we will probably DTD again just to make sure!

@Raindrop25 A LH peak (as detected by the OPKs) can be a indication that you will ovulate in the 12-48 hours after your first +OPK (so you may have ovulated on Sunday or Monday). But, it is worth remembering that it is not proof that you have ovulated, as some women can have multiple LH peaks within a cycle before they ovulate or may have a LH peak but not ovulate at all.

I'm on fertility tablets so get a blood test each month to confirm ovulation :) when would the best time be to do a pregnancy test? How early can it detect pregnancy do you know?
