Hi everyone, i have just used two different types of clear blue pregnancy tests, both digital and used the same cup of urine for both but one came back positive and the other negative, I’m so confused! Has anyone had this before? Helppp! Grin

Was one an early detection test? The amounts go HCG that needs to be present for a positive differs across tests,

Pretty sure they both were, except one just said pregnant or not pregnant and the other one gave you the weeks too, it was the one with the weeks indicator that said no, and the more basic one that said yes

I've heard the one with the weeks indicator needs a higher amount of HCG to produce a positive. If you've got a positive on one digi I would be quietly confident!

If I am I will be incredibly early, first day of my last period was the 6th of June, I am normally on a 27 day cycle, always bang on time and today is day 30, so it’s 3 days late. Will hold off for a week and try again see what it comes up with. Both excited and terrified at the same time it’s very confusing stuff all this TTC stuff!

They have different HCG thresholds - the weeks indicator needs you to be more pregnant before it shows/.

Try a first response early response pink dye test. They’re more sensitive and at 3 days past period it should show as a pink positive if you are pregnant.

So I have done two first response tests this morning with the pink die and they both have two lines on although one is much lighter than the other on both, a clear blue one came back positive (non dig) and a digital one from boots came back with negative, I have noticed a bit of blood when I wipe which I’m hoping is an implantation bleed and not a chem preg. Thank you for all your answers, seems time will tell with this one. Must stop wee’ing on sticks

If the pink ones have come back positive then you’re pregnant. Fingers crossed for you that it sticks!
