8 consecutive positive Premom OPK tests

I just wondered if anyone else has experience of using the Premom easy@home ovulation tests? My cycle has been all over the place since having my first child a few years ago so I'm trying to get to grips with it... so I've been using the Premom easy@home tests but so far have had 8 consecutive positive results... So I'm a bit confused and wondered if anyone else has had the same experience?

Positive as in stronger than the control line? If so then it's possible you have hormonal imbalances and potentially have developed PCOS post childbirth - as high LH is one of the signs for PCOS.

You'll need to start temping in order to confirm whether you're actually ovulating or not, OPKs won't help much in that case.

That's a good point - so only 1 is stronger than the control line. The rest are all very visible (some stronger than others). So would you say I just need to ignore any that aren't as strong as the test line? This brand seem much more sensitive than any others I've used - the cheap eBay ones don't pick anything up if I do a test now whereas the Premom ones still do, albeit fainter than a week ago!

@emjb91 have you a picture of your tests?

Juno231 · 05/07/2021 16:17

I agree that a pic would help but honestly sounds like a normal rise and decline with one peak in there? The Premom OPKs are more sensitive than others from what I gather so tend to show a second line pretty much always.

Yes, it's only positive if it's as dark as or darker than the control line. I usually have some form of line throughout my entire cycle which I think is totally normal.

Yes I have! But I'm not allowed to share it until I've been a member of the forum for 48hrs! :(

That's really useful to know about the Premom ones - maybe a ploy to make you keep testing and use more?! Thank you

That's useful to know you find the same throughout your cycle too, thank you!
