Testing

Hi ladies,
Currently on cycle day 28. Af usually ranges from cd28 - cd34. The last 2 cycles have been around 26/27 days.
So far I've had no cramps or sickness which I usually get around 2/3 days before af so feeling a tad hopeful.
Would a first response possibly detect anything if I am indeed pregnant in the morning considering it may be 5 days early depending on my cycle length this month as I never actually know when af is due

Hi OP, how many DPO are you? This is what would dictate whether a test would be reliable Esther day no. of days before AF

Sorry that should read “rather than” no. of days

I have usually found I get a squinter of a line on those days 5 or 6 days before aunt flow, but as hopefulhedgehog points out that is probably to do with when I ovulate, rather than when my period is due.

I tested 10DPO and it was positive. This was the Tuesday and my period was due on the Friday

According to the period tracking app I have I would be 14dpo with af due tomorrow. But I'm irregular and had none of my normal af signs as of yet. Not 100% when I ovulate as I don't track it

Impossible to say if you are relying on an app. If you want to test just go for it!
