Hello, I positive last week about a faint positive but it got a bit darker and then I got a positive on a clear blue digital.
However I keep testing and now I'm really worried about the slow progression of the lines.
Am I right to be worried? The last two are 15 dpo, and today at 17 dpo.

Emmyanddreams · 03/07/2021 08:36

There can be tremendous variability between the concentration of your hcg and even between tests of the same brand. Maybe try another brand, or leave it a couple of days (I've been there, I know how hard it is). Just remember: whether you are pregnant or not with a healthy foetus or not, a test will not affect the outcome. All things will out in the fullness of time. Keeping my fingers crossed for you xx

Emmyanddreams · 03/07/2021 09:09

Thank you @Tempusfudgeit
I've just read so many post about chemical or ectopic pregnancies, I can't help but panic. I'll try not to test for a few days x

The third one down looks the darkest and then the fourth one is lighter. Were they all taken at the same time of day for direct comparison?

Emmyanddreams · 03/07/2021 09:18

@toadstool32 I know, I noticed that. Yeah they were all taken with fmu

wavecatcher · 03/07/2021 09:19

Are they all first morning wee?

toadstool32 · 03/07/2021 09:21

I know it's so difficult but wait to test again on Monday/Tuesday. Fwiw attached is a pic of my tests in March which turned into a chemical so you can see I had little progression. I'm now early pregnant again just over 4 weeks and my lines are very different this time, the progression has been much more significant. I hope it's all positive for you. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

@wavecatcher yes they are

@toadstool32 thanks for the photo. How many days apart are they?

The only difference I would say with my last two tests are that the lines appeared before 2 minutes, whereas the first two appeared between 2-3 minutes.

Heres my progression for a chemical I had 3 weeks ago. I bled heavily around 3 days after the bottom pic but I had a feeling it would happen because the bottom test looked lighter. It may not be the same for you and your lines look much darker - mine never seemed to get dark enough... I also had constant period like pain. Try and leave it a few days or another digital? Sending love x

@Lolajames thanks for sharing and sorry to hear about your chemical.
I have on off period like cramps but they're very mild. I just assumed that was normal in early pregnancy 😔

Lolajames · 03/07/2021 09:38

I think they can be to be honest so don't get too disheartened 😘

toadstool32 · 03/07/2021 12:29

My first attached pic the tests were 10-12dpo. I started bleeding on 12dpo

Emmyanddreams · 04/07/2021 07:23

So I did I clear blue digital weeks indicator this morning and it gave me 1-2 weeks pregnant.
It's been 2 weeks and 4 days since I ovulated so really I should be 2-3 weeks now. But I know it's just an estimate and everyone's hcg levels are different.

What I'm thinking is I got a 'Pregnant' on a clear blue digital on Tuesday and the sensitivity on this test is 25mIU/ml. So if I just met that threshold and my hcg is doubling every 48 hours then my hcg levels should be 150 today.
The hcg threshold for 2-3 weeks on the weeks indicator is 153. So I could be just under.
However it's so close I feel I may just be clinging onto false hope. If I test again in a couple of days and it's still 1-2 weeks then it's obvious it's not going in the right direction.

Yeah it really should be 2-3 weeks now given you're bang in the middle at 2.5 weeks post ovulation. This sounds just how mine went, I never got past 1-2. But I really will cross my fingers for you. Can you request an hcg blood test? Otherwise you can do it yourself through medichecks and you'll see how your levels are rising/falling.

toadstool32 · 04/07/2021 07:31

We must be at a very similar point op. I'm 20dpo.

Emmyanddreams · 04/07/2021 07:35

@toadstool32 Yeah I agree. But I really hope we're wrong!!
If it carries on like this then I'll look into getting bloods.

I hope everything goes really well for you. Sounds like it is so far 😊

Emmyanddreams · 04/07/2021 07:40

@toadstool32 When I was pregnant which my dc1 I had no symptoms until 5 weeks and 6 days when nausea kicked in. I still have the tracker I was using and checked the other day! Very sad I know 🙈
I had no sore boobs the entire pregnancy.

Just to update everyone, I tested again yesterday with a CB digital it came back not pregnant, and today I've started bleeding. So it was a chemical. This is the closest I've got in 20 months so hoping something more positive will happen in the coming months 🤞🤞🤞
