Hi,
I'm new to ovulation testing, according to the premom App I should have ovulated on day 15 but all my tests are saying low (see attached. Are all of these low, is it an issue with the app and/or the tests? Has any one experience/ success with the app? Any help/ advice is much appreciated,
Thanks

@Norano Are you doing those tests in the morning? Ovulation tests need to be done later in the day, afternoon or early evening. I'd do them twice a day around expected ovulation to make sure you don't miss the surge

Norano · 02/07/2021 08:25

@Flopsy88 that sounds like my problem I have been doing them between 5.30am-6am in the morning, first wee of the day thinking they are like pregnancy tests! Thank you for your advice

Hi @Norano

It honestly doesn’t look like you have ovulated? I do mine first thing in the morning I will attach a pic and I have found my peak occurs then 🤷‍♀️ I have also done as @Flopsy88 suggests and test twice a day! Do you check your cervical mucus too? As it will give you an indication too xx

Hi,
@Springflower3, Thanks for replying , I haven't, my daughter still isn't night weaned so my cycles are all over the place so I may well haven't. I will start testing morning and evening to try and get a better idea

I've no advice but just to say this is my first cycle trying OPKs with Premom and I am pretty sure I'm ovulating now (CD15) according to cervix, CM and libido but my app says I'm not due to ovulate for another 9 days and my OPKs are still suggesting low! Think I will be taking them with a pinch of salt 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ I'm also still bf at night and cycles have been long but reducing so I'm wondering if I will have a more normal cycle this month if ovulating now. Time will tell!

These are mine so far!

These are my most recent ones including the peak. I have been testing mostly -

1pm and then around 7pm

When I peaked, I was covering all parts of the day with a 4 hour gap! It's difficult when you have busy schedules so don't be too hard on yourself if you can't cover all @Norano x

This is the test I've just done (didn't get time earlier) and this doesn't seem to be my time to test either.

These are my tests so far, I was meant to start my period on the 5th of July but for the first time in a long time it came early.. I don't know what happened Confused anyway period finished yesterday so I've started with the opks yesterday and I'm trying to do it around the same time.

I've no idea why I started my period barely three weeks after my last one ending but I could've ovulated earlier! Apparently my fertile window is starting in a day or two (follicular phase very short this month 🤷🏼‍♀️)

Maybe you've ovulated earlier? Keep testing and try doing it around the same time each day Thanks
