Ovulation test purple??

Cannot post a pic but my test for yesterday was like a dark purply colour ( but not darker than the control line) does anyone know what that means? Had sex last night & my test today is a bit lighter and not purply xx

Sounds like a positive test
My peak one is purply, kinda magenta then goes back to being pinkish and lighter.

Thank you for your reply!! I hope it is. If you don't mind me asking, with your peak tests is the test line darker than the control line or is it still lighter but just purply? Xx

I'd say slightly lighter. Here are the three days.
On my OPK leaflet it implies it can be read as a peak if comparatively dark even if not quite as dark or darker than the control line.

If this looks like yours I think you will have caught the window. What do you think?

Yes mine was a very similar colour !! However not quite as dark, but I did my test for yesterday at 9:30am and I did my test for today at 3:30 pm, and today there was still a faint line. So I think cos I left a while between tests I must have ovulated in between!! It's my first month of trying so I'm not quite used to using the tests yet!😂 thank you for your replies very helpful 😊 hope we get our babies soon x

Happy to help. I charted my first month (March) and missed the peak which massively stressed me out and I gave up on it until this month.
I was so pleased to see it this time and glad you're off to a better start.

I'm going to test on the 9th, sending you baby dust x
