Morning, I’m having a really confusing cycle and the doctors don’t want to know as AF is only about a week late so I am hoping someone may have experienced something similar and may be able to advise (: this has never happened to me before so just looking to put my mind at ease.
So I came off the pill in Jan, the first couple of cycles I had were 3 weeks and since then I’ve had regular cycles each between 28-30 days. I don’t usually feel any signs of ovulation except increased libido in the middle of the month. I haven’t been tracking as we wanted to see if it would happen naturally first.
This month, on CD 14 I started to get my increased libido which I thought meant I was ovulating. Had a bit of CM but not much. CD 24 I had headaches and was started to feel really bloated. CD 25-27 I was bloated non stop, had mild cramps in my lower abdomen and was pretty moody on and off. I thought this was maybe implantation (however all can be signs of ovulation too I believe?) and lots of CM which started just before this and lasted about a week. AF was due couple of days after. However no AF, tested and was negative. Tested again this morning on CD 33 still negative.
Since CD 27 all those symptoms stopped but I have had mild dull cramps and random twinges in my lower abdomen every day since then and still happening now. No signs of AF. Could it have been late ovulation? Could something else be going on? It’s the first time ever my period has not been on time, I was like clockwork before I went on the pill and has been since I came off it.
