@SunnySideUp2020 Can you remember what strength they were? Did you take all of that throughout pregnancy as well as whilst ttc your DD? I'm currently taking Cytoplan pregna-plan and it contains 400 folic acid as methylfolate, 11mg iron, 30 vit D3 (and I take vitamin D drops to add up to around 4,000 iu per day), 10mg zinc, 150 selenium. I also take Wiley's finest Wild Alaskan fish oil 630mg EPA & DHA Omega 3 and DH is taking the same as well as pure encapsulations 30mg zinc and a tablespoon of Maca powder. I also take Maca Powder until I ovulate. I also made some lifestyle changes after reading the most recent edition of It Starts with the egg (I haven't followed all of the advice in it though).

I was asking for both TTC and during pregnancy as I've still got the little voice at the back of my mind wondering what I could do differently if this time doesn't work out and for pregnancy because if I can take or do anything extra during this pregnancy then maybe it will help! Thanks for sharing what worked for you!Smile Are you going to take all of the same things whilst TTC again? Xx

Babyghirl · 31/08/2021 22:41

@kiwi17
Well I have my app on the 15th of September for my results so wondering what it is they will say to me lol 💚

H0peing · 31/08/2021 22:43

@PeanuttyButter Glad you've got work as a distraction. Hope it helps to keep your mind occupied until your 7.5 week scan. I'm back at work on Thursday so will be really busy all day but sometimes the evenings are the trickiest. Sometimes my mind can escape whilst watching TV but unfortunately that doesn't always work. As my last bleed was a miscarriage I can't date this pregnancy by a period. I'm only 12dpo according to my Clearblue peak day. I'm still shocked that I showed on a 25 strength test at only 10dpo to be honest and I'm also a bit worried that it implanted too soon in the wrong place due to me taking the progesterone pessary at 2 days past my peak day for the first time. I'm partly hoping it could be a multiple pregnancy again, which can cause earlier positive pregnancy tests but no idea really. I've had a HCG blood test today, which I managed to convince a young male doctor to arrange for me lol. I should get the results on Friday. A bit worried about that, really hoping that the hcg levels will be a lot higher than 25 from today's blood test as two days have passed since I last tested. Xx

H0peing · 31/08/2021 22:43

I feel like I need to find new ways to keep my mind busy with other things! Any suggestions anyone? Xx

H0peing · 31/08/2021 22:47

@anoki and @Nervousnelly21 Welcome to both of you! Thankfully, we can share our experiences on here. Sending love to you both xxxx

H0peing · 31/08/2021 22:53

@kiwi17 That is terrible! I really hope you get your bfp without the tests Xx

H0peing · 31/08/2021 22:58

@Babyghirl I really hope everyone has bfps this side of Christmas too! Hoping to hear lots of great stories about our healthy Rainbow babies in 2022 🌈 xxxx

H0peing · 31/08/2021 23:45

Just managed to upload a photo from my tablet. My phone still won't let me. I spent a ridiculous amount of money on a Clearblue early, which I think is hcg level 10 then took the CB weeks test to see if it had got to 25 or not yet at 10dpo. Really hoping this is my Rainbow baby. Xx

@HOpeing
No advice on how to occupie Urr mind cause I be the same but try taking up something new knitting or something that might help 💚

Spotsmama · 01/09/2021 07:36

@H0peing with my first and second mc I threw myself into work and that kept me distracted. Sadly this time it was summer holidays so I've had 5vweeks of feeling blue, overthinking everything and being angry at the world. We have decided to move house next year so currently being distracted by having a good clear out room by room so we don't have as much to move. Nice to feel excited about something. Decided to move to Scotland from England :)
Not suggesting sell your house but maybe clear out or decorate? Xox

anoki · 01/09/2021 07:42

Congratulations @H0peing, that does look like a sure sign, yay!! Xx

PeanuttyButter · 01/09/2021 08:03

Welcome @anoki and @nervousnelly21 we are a nice bunch here.

How's the horse riding going @Babyghirl are you off the saddle for this month yet? Also good luck for 15th!

@H0peing what were the results of your last HCG blood test? I know what you mean about twins I had a dream I was pregnant with twins a week before my BFP. Had some sharp pains when I cough so popped my head into the EPU in the hospital where I worked. They have done HCG and progesterone bloods which are 1801 and 42.4 but although I can guess how far long I. But not exactly due to my lack of proper bleed so having a scan tomorrow! They wanted to scan me today but DH can't make it today and ideally I'd want him there. I'm just worried at 5 weeks they are not going to be able to see anything. Not gonna lie I'd rather one baby than two but rather two than none haha

Babyghirl · 01/09/2021 08:11

@PeanuttyButter
Yep would say so lol I'm Cd10 today had pains on CD8 on my left side had ewcm yesterday so dtd last night so ovulation is prop yesterday or today but known my luck I just might squeeze a bit in tonite, good luck for the scan tomorrow 💚

H0peing · 01/09/2021 09:04

@Babyghirl Thanks. Ovulation pains and ewcm is definitely a good signSmile Enjoy tonight! X

MrsF111 · 01/09/2021 09:17

@H0peing congratulations! That’s so exciting

@Babyghirl good luck, lots of baby dust for you!!

I’ve been a bit quiet on here, had my strange very light period/spotting last cycle and nothing since, currently on day 41. No period, negative tests. Called the doctors this morning but got to call back later, I’m really run down and putting on weight despite eating well and exercising which is VERY unusual for me. When I had my scan for my last mc they mentioned I had cysts on my ovaries so I’m wondering if I have PCOS which is causing the weight gain, inrregular cycles and tiredness. Hoping the doctors will give me some blood tests but if they don’t I think I’ll order some private ones. Has anyone had any experience of going to the doctors for lack of period? Im worried they will say I need to wait until I’ve missed a few more.

Babyghirl · 01/09/2021 09:23

@mrsF111
Thank you I would just tell them how it's causing stress and anxiety and messing with your mh tell them about them being irregular and the cysts found and the weight gain tell them you want to rule out pcos ASAP💚

Nervousnelly21 · 01/09/2021 09:27

Thank you for the lovely welcome 🤗

I came on my first period (full flow) 4.5 weeks after my MC. It was different to what I'm used to, longer, more days with just brown spotting before & after and more days with heavy flow, guess that's normal!

Hopefully corrects itself in the coming months, glad to have had the first one out the way.

I haven't started with OPKs this time round, just seeing how it goes seen as I'm still a bit nervous! 🙈

Has anyone ever had a fertility tarot reading done? I bought one from pregnancy unicorn on Etsy before this recent pregnancy, it's only about £3.50 you literally just pick a number out and I guess that determines your card. Well she estimated my conception/when I'll see a positive pregnancy test spot on, so I bought another 🤣 this time round she has predicted early feb-March. I wouldn't haven't bothered if the first one was incorrect?! My OH thinks I'm a loon pot honestly!

H0peing · 01/09/2021 09:30

@Spotsmama Scotland sounds exciting! I've visited Edinburgh and thought it was a really beautiful place! Glad that I'll be very busy with work from tomorrow so that will help. We're daydreaming about moving to a beautiful home near a beach but that's probably a long time off, maybe our retirement home or something lol.

H0peing · 01/09/2021 09:31

@anoki thanks xxxx

H0peing · 01/09/2021 09:53

@PeanuttyButter the hcg results from my miscarriage went down to 2 the last time they measured them to confirm that pregnancy had ended. They said that I probably won't get the results of yesterday's hcg test until Friday afternoon. I'm definitely not an expert but your levels seem really high for 5 weeks! Glad you could get them checked so quickly! I hope your scan goes really well tomorrow! Xx

H0peing · 01/09/2021 09:56

@MrsF111 thank-you! I hope you can get tested quickly through the NHS rather than having to pay xxxx

H0peing · 01/09/2021 10:22

I tested this morning due to worrying and I know that it definitely isn't always helpful to test but it's changed from 1-2 weeks with Sunday's fmu to 2-3 weeks with this morning's fmu!

Thankfully, my hcg blood test will confirm what level I was at yesterday and the blood test will be the most accurate measurement. Xx

Bundaberg84 · 01/09/2021 10:28

That's really promising @H0peing!

H0peing · 01/09/2021 12:29

The EPU just called me and told me that my hcg level from yesterday's blood test was 103. I called Clearblue to find out what the minimum hcg level is for a 2-3 weeks from conception result and she said that it's a minimum of 156 so this pregnancy seems to have progressed between 5.30pm yesterday and around 8am this morning, if the CB test was accurate. I'm only about 13dpo according to CB's ovulation kit so it's still far too early to scan. They've offered to measure my hcg and progesterone levels this Friday anytime between 8.30am and 4.30pm. They said that if I can get in earlier in the day then I might be able to get my results before the end of the day so I'll probably go in my Lunchbreak. Depending on the results, they may offer me a scan at around 5.5/6 weeks. She mentioned that at this stage before having a scan they are unsure where the pregnancy is and that there's the possibility that it's ectopic before they see the pregnancy in the right place so, as always, all I can do is hope that this pregnancy is a healthy one. Xx

PeanuttyButter · 01/09/2021 12:46

@H0peing glad things are progressing.
Do you think the 1800 is high? I was cd 33 or 21dpo
