@kiwi17 my husband has had in done twice , he has slightly low morphology and count but nothing too bad. So tbh I think we are noth just suboptimal fertility wise but with us both together makes it harder!

@babyghirl hopefully they get back to you soon!

@kiwi17
My oh had his done all good think my boat went down with the titanic you knw one of the life boats 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂,
@Annny27
We will all get there at some stage 💚

kiwi17 · 12/08/2021 13:49

Hahaha @Annny27 @Babyghirl it's a pity we can't buy a new boat really! 😂 that's good to hear about the sperm analysis. I think DH is quite nervous about it and now worrying that his ultra marathon and training in July will have damaged the boys and it will take a while for them to recover! Hopefully it'll come back with some kind of information anyway!

Babyghirl · 12/08/2021 15:49

@kiwi17
Hope there still fighting fit and yous get some answers 💚

EmiGoiko · 12/08/2021 17:29

Lol, both me and my husband are super glad we don't have to DTD till next month. Becomes a bit unromantic doesn't it! Haha.

I am also I'm the two week wait and trying not to think about it, but it's dragging. I don't even feel excited these days.

@kiwi17 hope your OHs tests are OK.

Babyghirl · 12/08/2021 18:28

@Emigoiko

Babyghirl · 12/08/2021 18:31

@Babyghirl that homemade chicken pie looks great! X

H0peing · 12/08/2021 20:27

@EmiGoiko Glad you get a break and hoping you get some good news soon! X

H0peing · 12/08/2021 20:30

@kiwi17 I guess it would be helpful to know the sperm analysis results. Is that something you have to pay for privately? I've had loads of tests but haven't been offered that one through the NHS.

H0peing · 12/08/2021 20:33

@Annny27 Report for duty at Lunchtime! A great way to put it! Hope you enjoyed your lunch xxxx

H0peing · 12/08/2021 20:35

@PeanuttyButter hoping you get your BFP on the 22nd! Xx

H0peing · 12/08/2021 20:49

@ELM7 so sorry to hear about your mum! My mum had breast cancer too but she is fully recovered now and cancer free. I hope your mum makes a full recovery soon! X
I had cramps several times with my DS but he's now a healthy 5yo. They are really common in pregnancy. I think the doctor said they are due to the uterus expanding to make more room for your little one. Xx

H0peing · 12/08/2021 20:55

I've now had my (virtual) appointment with the gynaecologist and she has recommended a few more blood tests. I should hopefully find out the results tomorrow and she's recommended aspirin for me as well but throughout the month 150mg and progesterone pessaries from mid-cycle / after peak ovulation so we're planning to try that ASAP.

I have no idea what the shape of my uterus is. After reading previous comments I'm thinking maybe I should ask to get that checked as well. Xx

kiwi17 · 12/08/2021 21:18

@H0peing the gp gave us a number to call to book him in so it's a separate clinic I think but referred from the nhs?

Babyghirl · 12/08/2021 21:23

@HOpeing
Was good, did she say to take it through out ur cycle and not only when u get a bfp.

EmiGoiko · 12/08/2021 22:45

@Babyghirl that pie is seriously impressive! Looks delicious!

@H0peing that sounds really positive, good that you've been given some practical things to try. Fingers crossed it helps.

I'm also interested in the asprin. A midwife told me to try it after my second miscarriage and so I've started taking 75mg as soon as I ovulated. I thought I'd read they'd up'd the amount so now not sure whether to go up to 150mg (given I'm self prescribing 🙄)

I have really bad crampy pains this evening. Never had anything like this at this stage in my cycle or for any of the other pregnancys. It just doesn't feel right, I think my body is just seriously messed up. Anyone ever had this? 😕

Babyghirl · 12/08/2021 23:03

@Emigoiko
It's now 150mg of asprin they recommend to take so I have started taking it lol. It was a chicken curry pie was great, June cycle I had bad cramps cd21 so of course I thought it was implementation cramps but obviously not cause I'm still here lol.

H0peing · 12/08/2021 23:05

@kiwi17 Yes, sounds like you got a referral through the NHS. I really hope it's helpful for you. Saved a lot of money that way! I went through the long list of tests that I've had so far when I had my consultation with the gynaecologist and checked the cost online and it looks like it would be around £1350 privately! Thankful for the NHS right now! I know they're not perfect but at least they're free. X

H0peing · 12/08/2021 23:09

@Babyghirl She doubled my aspirin dose from 75mg to 150mg, telling me to take 2 instead of 1 and to make sure that I have them after food and I think she said to take aspirin every day now but she said there would be a written report for my GP so I'll ring her tomorrow to get a copy of it and double check that part when I check my blood test results. I was previously told to only take aspirin from bfp. X

Babyghirl · 13/08/2021 06:27

@HOpeing
I was told to take it only after a bfp but I knw people who get ivf take it from the start or after etf so going to start taking it after ovulation hopefully it will help will blood flow on the dip in my urters.

EmiGoiko · 13/08/2021 07:05

@Babyghirl hard not to overanalyse isn't it! Crossed my mind could be implantation but likely being to hopeful. Seems to have gone this morning....it was probably indigestion lol

Thanks @h0peing that's so helpful. Do you take the whole dose in one go?

Also I read about a study the other day that said women that take asprin every day, not just after bfp had better outcomes. So definitely worth us trying!

Babyghirl · 13/08/2021 07:23

@Emigoiko
I got told its better to take at night time to yea take it all at once that's what I'm doing anyway can't do any hard lol.

EmiGoiko · 13/08/2021 08:37

Thanks! Well, I'm going to give it a try. As you say, can't hurt!

H0peing · 13/08/2021 10:50

@Babyghirl I just spoke to my doctor to check and she said that I can take it everyday as hopefully it will help to support the next pregnancy after my current bleeding has stopped, which I think it has today so I'm planning to take it every day too. X
