How long to wait after miscarriage

Hi, I had confirmation yesterday of a miscarriage after a scan at the EPU. I started bleeding Wednesday last week. I'm feeling OK and hopeful that next time will be different.

I'm just wondering how long people wait before trying again? The nurse said to take precautions until my period arrives which could be in the next 4-6 weeks. Do people stick to that? I've read that others just go for it anyway if they're feeling up to it.

I'm sorry, its shit.

I'm having medical management at home tomorrow. They said to wait 4 weeks and take a test to see if it's negative. Hopefully by that point it will be. And then start temping and OPKs as soon as I get a negative.

Planning on resuming the conception vitamins I was taking and possibly giving soy isoflavones another bash.

I'm very sorry for your loss.
I was told both times to wait until after a period.
It allows time your body to heal and reset.

Sorry for u loss. I think they advise you to wait until You have ur next period so u can date the pregnancy. Don't think their is a medical reason u couldnt start straight away as long as u feel mentally and physically up to it
