Feeling Dejected 5DPO - any advice

Hi,

DH and I started TTC this month, I have PCOS and Endo but regular periods and all the right CM! Since ovulation (which I’m sure happened as day 14 had sharp pains which happens every month) since then I have felt a bit weird (sore nips, light cramping every day, tired) I just had a feeling that it might have worked first time around.

I have work drinks tomorrow and took a test as was hoping to know whether I can have a drink or not and I know it’s probably too early but feeling a bit dejected about it as it was negative as I was pretty convinced I might be pregnant and now I don’t think I am :(

Any advice? Is there still hope?

I'm not sure if it's even possible to get a positive at 5dpo, implantation usually happens from 6dpo at the earliest then it takes a little time for hormone levels to build enough to show on a test. You prob need to wait until at least 8dpo, and even then. Lot test negative who will go on to test positive and more doo

Far too early yet! Have an orange juice. Good luck!

Enjoy your orange juice at the work event tonight and fingers crossed this will be the lucky month!

Hi,

I'm intrigued to know if you were pregnant in the end? I am in the same position right now and clutching to hope!
