Sex after early miscarriage

Hello, we had an early miscarriage at 6 weeks 3 days. Utterly heartbroken as was my first pregnancy and planned, I passed it naturally so didn't need medication or surgery and the bleeding stopped after a few days so feeling physically okay.

I don't know if it sounds strange or if it's wrong to want to so soon, but I want to have sex with my husband, it's only been a week now. Not for the purpose of a baby straight away though i do want to try soon, just more want that closeness if that makes any sense?
If I feel okay to, can I or do I need to wait a certain amount of time?

I understand the need to be close again. I was advised to wait till the bleeding had completely stopped. It can start and stop too. Ideally, I'd say wait 2 weeks to reduce your risk of infection, even though you have stopped bleeding. Best of luck x
