When would a blood test show a positive?

I'm on CD60. No idea if or when I would have ovulated.
The only times we DTD unprotected was the 13th and the 20th.
On the 20th I had super sharp pains in my pelvis on the right side. I thought it was my period, but nope lol. Im wondering if it may have been ovulation.
I've been temping inconsistently but am waiting for AF to start doing it properly. I had a temp drop of .4°C on the 26th, and another .2°C drop on the 27th. Couldn't check this morning.
I got really sore nipples on Saturday night and I've had dizzy spells on and off since then. I was really hungry yesterday and very bloated today.
I've had lots of creamy CM yesterday and today as well. Also, a little weird, one of my dogs has been trying to sleep on top of me the last few nights, and she usually prefers to sleep on her own until early hours, then jumps on the end of the bed, but doesn't sleep on us.
BFN on every stick I've dipped into my pee since the 4th.
Anyway, I'm going to my GP on Friday to see what's up. Thatll be two weeks since the last unprotected BD. Would it show on a blood test by then, even if I didn't implant until say, Wednesday? If I even am pregnant lol

Hm if you've had two days of big temp drops it sounds to me like AF is on her way. Normally temp goes up for a BFP.

A FRER would show before a blood test as the latter isn't at all sensitive and usually requires you to pretty much have missed AF first. Sounds like Friday might be around that time period anyway though so could do!

Really sorry OP but it sounds like it’s could just be PMT. you’re reading a lot into it with the dog etc. If you DTD when you’d already ovulated then that’s a very small window to conceive. I’m pretty sure home pregnancy tests would throw up a positive before it becomes necessary to get a blood test, if you were pregnant.

Probably, but not definitely.

Assuming the last day you could have ovulated and fallen pregnant would have been around the 25th after sex on the 20th, and 12 days to implant, it would show up by the 7th ish at the latest, which is the following Wednesday.

Can I ask why it is you are going to see the GP? It sounds like you need to wait it out and use at home tests rather than use up a GP appointment unless you have a particular concern?

Going to the GP for another issue, but I'll be bringing it up while I'm there.
We aren't trying to have a baby. This cycle has me freaked. I'm always very anxious and thus isn't helping.

I can sense your anxiety. If you are not TTC then you should really use some contraception then it will avoid this anxiety of symptom spotting, testing and temping wondering if you are pregnant. Are your cycles usually this long?

Hopefulhedgehog · 29/06/2021 08:01

Gently, if you are not already getting help for your anxiety then you really should. Your posts are incredibly anxious for someone who has not yet officially started TTC and TTC/pregnancy can cause anxiety in the most laid back of people so it is only likely to get worse. Please get done help and support with that before starting your TTC journey, good luck x
