stress

I read recently that high levels of stress can actually cause your body to send out the same hormones your body has when breast feeding, which are there to stop you getting pregnant!

I'm worried. I don't have a stressful job, but I do let really stupid things stress me out, and I get really quite uncontrollable flashes of anger and irritation over things I should really be chilling out about.

Anyone got any tips to talk myself down?

Have you tried pilates or yoga especially for their breathing exercises?

i get like that sometimes, i find talking things through with dh/friends/mum/mumsnet good too.

I had a bit of counselling to deal with my anxiety. Have done yoga, might try some meditation. Are things like massage and reflexology good?

iv heard that reflexology is really good for the stress relieving and also acupuncture is meant to be good for that aswell ( although if i was to do the acupuncture i would prob be more stressed with th idea of someone pokin millions of tiny pins all over me!!) things like yoga are really good for stress aswell oo and tai chi... gosh they jus keep comin to me...not that i stress out and am an expert or anythin...

Beanie I can't believe you are getting stressed about stress causing you not to ovulate. Stop reading things like this would be my tip!
Seriously though, I'm the same as you. Writing things down and getting them into proportion helps. And not trying to talk them through with a man who tries to find solutions to everything when you just want a hug really
