Hello!
So I'm a bit confused.
I got a positive OPK on Monday, so I assumed I'd ovulate between then and Tuesday, but I'm still getting very dark, if not darker OPK's including one today, just now which is the most recent in my photo.

Can anybody help..? I didn't DTD last night as thought we were done for this month but worried now I may not have ovulated yet!

You can have multiple surges before you ovulate but usually if it's the right peak you take it that you ovulate 1-3 days after the first positive (as dark or darker than the control). I had 5 days of strong positives last month 🙈
Do you track your temperature? Do you know what cd you are on?

@firsttimemummy321 thank you! Sadly I don't temp so not 100% sure but I wonder if this is where I've gone wrong before..? I have been TTC for over a year now. I wonder if it's that I have several surges and don't ovulate when I think I do! X

I'd say the tips ones are close but not quite positive
The fourth from the bottom looks like it's positive or very close, bottom 2 positive :)

I temp and it confirms ovulation which is helpful :) it's called bbt :)

@firsttimemummy321 amazing thank you!
Silly question, but how do you temp? Is it worth me starting at this stage in my cycle?

🙂✨

Start at any stage it might take a cycle or 2 to understand what you are looking at.

I bought a cheap (less than £5) thermometer for bbt (2 decimal places)

Download an app - I use fertility friend - to put the data into (google fertility friend charts and you'll see what they look like)

Then every morning (ideally around the same time) take you temp before you get out of bed :)

@firsttimemummy321 oh that's great thanks so much! I will have to give this a go!
So d you see a rise / dip when ovulating? X

If you’re starting to temp it’s best to start with a new cycle. You set your alarm every day for the same time and then first thing you do is take oral or vaginal temperature. Then enter it into an app like fertilityfriend. A temperature rise around middle of the cycle confirms ovulation.
