When did you start testing? Easy@Home

Hey,

I ordered a pack of 25 Easy@Home tests last night and they have arrived. I am on CD7 with my fertile window in 3 days time.

When do I start testing? I was thinking today but not sure if that is too early? Thank you Smile

Test when you think is best. When I had a 28 day cycle I would start cd10 and I knew I would peak roughly Cd15. Last few cycles have been a mess due to covid vaccine so this last one I started testing cd1 through to cd33 (36 day cycle). I got my peak cd25 (a lot later than normal obviously) but it'll pick up your peak when it happens ☺

I started testing on CD10 and got peak at CD18, and ovulated CD19. It felt like a lifetime but we got there 😂 I'd suggest testing twice a day if you don't know when to expect ovulation, as I found my surge came out of nowhere. Was fairly low (0.23) at 8.30am but by 2pm it was over 1.20! Good luck!

Thank you both @Loops01 + @wineosaurus4!

I got my peak yesterday at CD11!! So glad we've been testing and covered CD7, CD9 and CD11. Will cover today as well since it's "ovulation day".

Best of luck to you both!! x

Great news, I would DTD today and also tomorrow as well, because ovulation can occur anywhere between 12-48 hours after the surge so it might be that you ovulate tomorrow and not necessarily today. I am lucky (?!) in the sense I get quite bad ovulation pains so can almost pinpoint the hour I release an egg Shock Good luck for this cycle!

Yeah I definitely will! Thank you so much @wineosaurus4.

I did feel a pain in my left side earlier but I'm maybe overthinking it haha... how are you doing? x

@babyboybluex My ovulation pain last a couple of hours, most of my evening and I sit with a hot water bottle to help ease it! I was surprised just how sore it could be.

I'm fine thanks! First time TTC last month and I was very lucky to fall pregnant first time, but sadly miscarried last weekend at just 5+1 Sad It has definitely made me more anxious about this whole thing and the possibility of it happening again. I stopped bleeding on Wednesday and physically feel fine so we have decided to try again right away, fertile week starting tomorrow (going by previous cycles & counting day 1 of miscarriage bleed as CD1 as I was told that's what to do) and using OPK's again so fingers crossed 🤞🏼 How are you getting on?
