Hen do dialema! Pregnant or not?

Hi everyone, I'm new here, so bare with me.

I have a dialema. My partner and I sort of started trying last month as a spur of the moment thing. On reflection I know it seems a bit stupid now. I was due AF on Monday and nothing has arrived. On Friday last week I did early test which was negative. On Sunday last week I did another early test also negative, it was early in the morning so after 3 mins I went back to sleep only to wake up to it being positive (evaporation lines?). Anyway, nothing arrived Monday so waited and Tuesday I had a tiny slight bit of blood on toilet roll when I peed once. Nothing else all day. Took a test again which was negative. We decided to wait until tomorrow (Thursday) to take another test with first urine to try and help the test but I'm a bit worried as it's my hen do this weekend! I'm stressing because I don't want to drink if I'm pregnant but equally I don't want to not drink and miss out on my hen (I know sounds selfish). I am thinking of contacting Dr but I doubt they can get blood test results this week before the hen. I've not been particularly stressed so that's not why AF has not appeared, is there anything else the Dr can do to know quickly?

Just take a test today instead of tomorrow? If you're late for your period you would get a positive by now BUT that assumes your periods are regular etc and the line is 'you're not out til she shows up'.

But the doctor won't be able to do anything to expedite a decision for you before the weekend, they don't even do a pregnancy test here when you speak to them about being pregnant, they take the home test as good enough as they use a variation of the same thing.

Get an FRER and do it today if you can then you can either celebrate or enjoy your hen do.

If your period is late you should be getting clear positive on a test. It sounds like all your tests have been negative so it doesn’t look like this is your month. Have you had your vaccine this month? That has delayed ovulation and period for quite a few people on here. Hopefully AF will show up before the weekend or a clear positive and you will have an answer either way. Good luck

@Heyha as its less than 24 hours since my last test it says wait 48 hours and try again, hence waiting until tomorrow. Thank you for the Drs advice I didn't know what they would do! ☺

@Hopefulhedgehog I had my vaccine in May and have had AF since, but that's an interesting theory 🤔

I think they just say that to make it look like they don't want people spending too much money on tests, there's no medical reason kit to test every day (or more!) If you choose to. An FRER can give a positive days before period due so you won't need to worry about using FMU.

So it's either test today to tomorrow, up to you, but the doctors won't make any difference and, to be brutal, they probably wouldn't see you for this anyway.

@Heyha thank you for your advice. I find it hard to believe why test companies wouldn't want you to buy hundreds of tests. I think they're thinking more of the hcg building up more?
Also my Drs is quite good, if I rung and said I need to speak to a Dr because I've missed my period and I'm not sure what's happening I'm confident they'd book me in, just not sure if what they're going to say is worth either of our time, but as you say, probably not going to be worth anything if they're just going to go off my results.
