First OPK tests

Since I missed my last period, I decided to buy OPKs to get a better idea of when I ovulate after my next period. But being a POAS addict, I couldn't wait.

I got these two negatives. Today's is lighter than yesterday's. Do you think I could have ovulated a few days ago? I did have v sharp pains on my right side Pelvis on Saturday.

I know, its not much to go on and I took them on CD54(right) & 55(left).

Hey op didn’t want to read and run, there could be several reasons for it being lighter tbh…. For example how much you have drunk? The lh in our systems change so much throughout the cycle! I have attached mine so can compare 😬 I usually get my peak around cd 13/14 but on cd 8 I got a good line although negative and then it went down but is starting to rise again as I get closer to my expected peak! Hope this helps xx

Thanks for replying. I didn't drink too much today as I was on night shift last night. I'm just desperately trying to make sense of this wacky cycle!

Which opk’s are you using? It will take a while to get a hang off it tbh…. Do you have e pcos? As I read that opk aren’t always reliable due to hormone imbalances??

Just a Forelife one. I dont have PCOS. I was more just curious about my cycles than anything

You could trying poas everyday throughout your cycle…. It will defo show you the fluctuations in the lh hormone 😬 I done this when I came off the pill… 3 cycles in and I have got a good enough grasp on things but our bodies can play up now and again 🤣🤣
