So my partner and I had intercourse on 7th may with protection and the condom broke. We both agreed to not start a family until we have got somewhere to live together and are either engaged or married (I’m 28 this upcoming august and he is 36) As we agreed this, I took the emergency contraceptive pill Levonelle the same day just 2 hours later after it happened. On that month, around the 25th I got my period. It was normal, nothing to write home about that I can remember.
So I use the period app Flo and it predicted me to start my period on the 15th of this month. It’s Monday 21st and I still haven’t come on. For some background information my OBYGN said that my left or right ovaries looked convincing for PCOS and my periods have always been irregular until I had my kidney transplant in 2019 where after, they got regular again.
Now is there a chance I could be pregnant? I haven’t had any pregnancy symptoms that I’ve noticed. I’ve had symptoms like spots, cramps, dizziness, tiredness, mood changes, bloated, bigger breasts but no implantation bleeding. I have had heartburn though.
I don’t know whether it’s silly taking a test if I’m just late this month or whether it’s just better to do one anyway and just rule it out?
Thanks in advance
