Am I pregnant?

So my partner and I had intercourse on 7th may with protection and the condom broke. We both agreed to not start a family until we have got somewhere to live together and are either engaged or married (I’m 28 this upcoming august and he is 36) As we agreed this, I took the emergency contraceptive pill Levonelle the same day just 2 hours later after it happened. On that month, around the 25th I got my period. It was normal, nothing to write home about that I can remember.

So I use the period app Flo and it predicted me to start my period on the 15th of this month. It’s Monday 21st and I still haven’t come on. For some background information my OBYGN said that my left or right ovaries looked convincing for PCOS and my periods have always been irregular until I had my kidney transplant in 2019 where after, they got regular again.

Now is there a chance I could be pregnant? I haven’t had any pregnancy symptoms that I’ve noticed. I’ve had symptoms like spots, cramps, dizziness, tiredness, mood changes, bloated, bigger breasts but no implantation bleeding. I have had heartburn though.

I don’t know whether it’s silly taking a test if I’m just late this month or whether it’s just better to do one anyway and just rule it out?

Thanks in advance

There is only one way to know, and that is to test!

Good luck

I'd take one anyway just to rule it out, good luck!

I've taken this before, completely messed with my cycle for about 3 months after. But yes, check with a test!

Thanks everyone I'll get a test tomorrow. Read on nhs that it only works if you haven't ovulated before taking it. When me and my partner had intercourse, it was my most fertile week according to Flo. But it was the week after my period finished, so not sure if that's right. Gah this is driving me insane so going to get a test to rule it out. Thanks

Update: my period came this morning so no need to do a test. Thank goodness 😅

If your period was uncharacteristically late and you recently had the Covid vaccine, you can report this here coronavirus-yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk/

Thanks but I had the vaccines ages ago so it won't affect my periods now
