CB ovulation sticks

Okay so a bit of a weird one and I’m totally confused. I’ve been doing my ovulation sticks since the day it said I should start doing them which was Tuesday last week every morning. I got a round circle Tuesday and then from Wednesday until Saturday I had flashing smiley faces. On Sunday I had a solid smiley face, which is great. Then today out of curiosity I have another test holder so I thought I’d do it again today PM to see if it was still peak so we could carry on trying as I wasn’t sure on the window & we didn’t manage to have sex on Thursday/Friday or Saturday(not ideal) so I really needed just one more day, anyway it came back solid circle. Do anyone think that’s because I’ve missed the window? So strange though as I tested Saturday morning and it was flashing and then Sunday solid and now gone? Or maybe because I’ve tested in the afternoon?
Can anyone help?

@jenxpenx

Hey,
It says in the instructions to not test again for that cycle once you have had your static smiley which shows your peak and stays on screen for 48 hours.
I would say the peak has now passed and you will have to wait until next month to try again.

If you’re using the CB connected with the replaceable sticks and you’ve started using a new holder then it will always give a blank circle the first time you use it, as it needs to establish your baseline,which is why the instructions tell you not to use a different holder in the same cycle and why the static smiley stays on for 48 hours once it finds both of the hormones it needs.

So providing that you’re talking Sunday, as in yesterday, it’s possible you haven’t yet ovulated.

@Peachycream ahhh this makes total sense. I definitely should have just left it 🙄! Thank you so much for the response Xx

That’s cool @jenxpenx I test for my whole cycle too, but I use the cheap easy@home strips along with the CB connected, mostly because the strips give me more warning that ovulation is coming where as with the CB I get 1 flashing face and my then the static, you can get like 50 of them for £16 on Amazon. If you like to keep an eye on it that’s how I do it 🥰 xx
