Hi there!
I took a first response and a very faint line showed up. When showing other people either they said they couldn’t see it, or they can, but barely. Those who can see it say they’re not sure if that definitely means I’m pregnant. That was with a frer. So we went out to get an “ultra early clear blue digital”. I looked it up and they say they both detect from 10mIU/ml. However, the ultra early digital one came up with “not pregnant”. I’m really heartbroken as after seeing the line on the frer I was so excited. My husband and I have been trying for 6 months. I know that’s a short time for a lot of people, but I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels like each month is a year! I hope I’m not coming across as insensitive of those trying for longer. Please let me know what you think… I’d post a picture of the frer but because I’m a new member it won’t let me just yet.

It's hard to say without seeing the picture. Best thing to do is to test again in a few days. If it was a positive line, it'll be more obvious in a few days. Good luck x

FRERs detect at 6miu I think? I find anything digital takes a bit longer to detect pregnancies. So best to check again in 2 days and ignore the digi in the meantime!

How many dpo are you?

ClareHorne · 21/06/2021 14:20

I’m 18dpo (according to femometer ovulation strips). I think it’s due to being 18dpo and not having a strong positive on the frer that really concerns me. My cycles vary so much though. I’ve had cycles last 35 days before. But I’ve also have some last 28…
I’m currently on CD33 if that makes a difference?

Ah well if you're not tracking then it could be as little as 8dpo even! All you can do is wait and see I'm afraid. Wish you the best of luck though!

@ClareHorne 🤞🏻 digitals are less sensitive so if the line is pink and was there in the time limit I'd say there's a good chance that it is positive. Test again in a couple of days and hopefully it will be darker!

I thought I’d update with the picture of the very faint positive test when I could. Please let me know if you see it as I’ve been told I’m mad by others…
I tested yesterday and today with more frer but they were negative… So I think it’s been a chemical which I’m so gutted about. I’m 20dpo and on CD35. No period in sight. No cramps either. I think my body is probably taking it’s time to catch up with the early loss. I feel like now I can’t even get excited or happy when I see positives now. I feel like I’m always just going to be worried about another chemical. Why does ttc have to be like this? Sad

I see it! Hopefully you're just a little earlier in you LP than your apps are telling you - good luck!

ClareHorne · 24/06/2021 18:26

The picture attached is of the positive and two following negatives. I’m now a week late. I’ve got a doctors appointment tomorrow as I’ve been having bleeding after and during sex for over a year and I’d been ignoring it due to thinking it was normal. But I plucked up the courage to address it as I’ve had an ovarian cyst burst before, and I wonder if I have something nasty going on. I brought up the faint positive with the doctor over a phone call appointment and she said if it isn’t still obvious that I’m pregnant by tomorrow then they’ll do bloods to confirm before doing any invasive checks… I’m feeling a bit bummed as I’m pretty sure its gonna be another cycle of bad news. Everyone keeps telling me to try and keep my mind off it and it’s the stress of trying that’s stopping it from happening, but I’m finding it impossible! I know 6 months isn’t a long time for a lot of people but I’m starting to get worried.

I think this is my last update. Not even been to the doctors yet, but I passed a huge blood clot soon after waking up. I couldn’t help but think that I might have passed my little poppy seed. My husband and I have decided we’re taking a month off as I’m emotionally worn out. Don’t know how you strong woman do it! I’ve found writing about the process quite therapeutic weirdly enough. So I might look at blogging the journey to help express my feelings and maybe it’ll feel like a release. Thanks, those who replied. :)
