Hi everyone,

My partner and I are getting married I September, after 10 years together. We are both 30 and feel so ready to have a baby together. I have been diagnosed with PCOS so obviously I’m a bit anxious about my fertility.

We’ve planned to start trying straight after the wedding, but I’m thinking maybe we could start just before. I should ovulate 2 weeks before the wedding...if we start trying then and I get pregnant (I know this is unlikely anyway!) am I correct that I probably wouldn’t feel any symptoms on the wedding day? I wouldn’t want to feel unwell on the day.

Thanks!

Don’t risk it, just wait. You will have enough on your mind, just enjoy your wedding day x

I wouldn't, I've been ill with morning sickness in both pregnancies around the time my period was due, so for you that would be your wedding day.

I'm only 11 weeks just now, but its been like a nonstop hangover since my period was due. A lot of women have it much worse, but its the never ending relentlessness of it that I'm fed up of!

I think itd be fine to just wait one more month! Also means you can have cocktails and fizz at your wedding too!
