Cycle number 7 now Sad
I've used opks in a few cycles and they are consistently showing ovulation around the same time every month. Cycle generally 28 days.
We dtd sometimes everyday but definitely every other day all month so is there any point in using opks?
I'm calling gp tomorrow for a fertility check as I'm 36 and it's been over 6 months.

If you know your mucous and when you ovulate, and have sex that often Shock then likely not needed. I personally use a saliva opk which is reusable. I never got a positive with the urine ones, and was sick of the cost of them. (TTC 11yrs in total, so it certainly adds up!) best of luck.

That's it, the cost for me to piss on it and for it to tell me to have sex when I'd probably be having it anyway seems a bit much. I wasn't sure if I was missing something.

Sorry you've been going for so long. I can't imagine how you feel Flowers

No you don't need them if you're having sex every couple of days. I think they can make you overtaking the whole process. I fell pregnant the month I stopped using them.

The month I had a successful conception was the first month in a long while that I had stopped using them.
