Currently 1DPO (I think). Got a positive OPK on Thursday so assuming I ovulated either yesterday or maybe today. Have had sore boobs, bloating and cramping today.

Anyone else at the same stage who wants to wait with me?

Think I'm out. 12 OR 13DPO and started bleeding this morning. Af wasn't due until Saturday and the blood looks like brown ewcm (tmi) but I'd say it's too late to hope it's implantation so just taking it as the start of AF.

@sunnyside257 I think implantation can happen as late as 12dpo right? You might not be out yet

BritInNZ · 01/07/2021 08:39

Left work at lunch today because of really bad cramps. AF not due for another five days, cramping is really bad in my ovary area. I know my monthly PMS symptoms are really extreme and I'm concerned I have something underlying so I've booked a Dr appointment. Being a woman sucks sometimes!

@overtherainbow21
Oops 🙈 I just realised I had mixed you up with someone else.. new to mn and I seem to get very confused re who said what 🤣🤣. Anyway, so chuffed it’s a BFP and certainly I hear positive things about FRERs. Sounds like a good experiment to use your FMU with the other tests - keep us posted. And send us baby dust please x

SATCfan · 01/07/2021 09:28

@overtherainbow21
Ps I just saw that I congratulated you yesterday re your CB BFP - that’s some serious memory loss on my part!!!

overtherainbow21 · 01/07/2021 09:41

@SATCfan ha no worries at all lovely! I find it really hard to keep track of who said what too...MN need avatars I think! So much baby dust✨to everyone, I'll post the results of my little experiment later 🤓 x

AF is here 1 day early 😢 good luck everyone and congratulations to those that have made it out of this horrible game 😂

overtherainbow21 · 01/07/2021 12:07

Oh @rathernotshare I'm so sorry to hear this, it is a very cruel game for sure. I really hope next month is your month and that you have some treats planned now AF is here (for me it's always straight onto the blue cheese and wine!)

rathernotshare · 01/07/2021 12:10

@overtherainbow21 thank you! No treats for me, I'm on a diet 😂 I'm in the healthy weight range but I'm trying to get it just a litttttle bit lower so when I stomp into the GP demanding tests there's absolutely no arguments on that front 😂🤞

Ah tactical thinking. Well I hope you find some other treats to enjoy this weekend instead then. Good luck with the GP xx

toadstool32 · 01/07/2021 13:12

@overtherainbow21 totally normal and symptomless!! You?

overtherainbow21 · 01/07/2021 13:26

A bit crampy, a bit nauseous but also really hungry, and very tired - but that might just be because I got up at 4am to POAS 😳🙈 Boobs off the chart but I get that with PMS. Mainly just in shock still at this stage! Really want to make it past the weekend with some nice darkening lines as AF due tomorrow 😬

overtherainbow21 · 01/07/2021 13:26

Sorry that last comment was for @toadstool32 ! 🙈

overtherainbow21 · 01/07/2021 13:37

By the way in case it helps any other avid POASers...here are the results of my experiment today! Top one is easy@home IC, middle Sainsbury's and bottom FRER. All same sample FMU at 12DPO. IC and Sainsbury's both fainter and took longer to appear at 5-7 mins, FRER was 3 mins or less (I don't know as was too scared to look before then!). CB early from yesterday was also 3 mins (see earlier post). I'll be shelling out for FRERs or CB early next time I need an HPT!

TWW anyone?
T2710 · 01/07/2021 16:52

Really insightful @overtherainbow21 I'd definitely recommend the az healthcare one step tests from Amazon over other ICs as the line is definitely darker on them.

Aw so so sorry to hear this @rathernotshare. 🤞🏻🤞🏻 that the GP is more helpful this time round and that you get your BFP soon xx

@overtherainbow21 thanks for this. What an interesting experiment. I find the Sainsbury’s one most difficult to see (it’s supposed to be a cross isn’t it?). FRER clear winner but internet cheapie not too bad I’d say. Really helpful to know! Xx

Glad it might be helpful, I'm a POAS fanatic so always wonder which is best! Interesting about One Step.

@T2710 Thanks that’s also very helpful to know! Xx
overtherainbow21 · 02/07/2021 06:56

@SATCfan ah glad you found it helpful too! I partly wanted to see as I've seen so many bad reviews for the Sainsbury's one, although mainly for giving false positives. Definitely hardest to see from my selection I think, won't be buying them again. You're right the IC wasn't bad, as long as you don't mind waiting a bit longer for the result. I think my FRER looked a bit darker this morning so 🤞🏻! Stay away AF! How are you getting on? Xx

SATCfan · 02/07/2021 07:04

@overtherainbow21
Yay for the line getting darker 🎊🥳. How long do lines continue getting darker ie is there a plateau point?

I got another BFN today 😔. I can’t seem to quite work out when af is due (as my cycle length varies a bit). Only by a couple of days so could be due today, Sat or Sun so maybe need to wait to till Sun to test again? Which seems an eternity away! Xx

overtherainbow21 · 02/07/2021 07:16

@SATCfan ooh not sure about when they plateau; I've actually never tested past the first positive in my previous pregnancies, I didn't realise that was a thing until TTC this time and seeing it on MN! I was much more relaxed about it all previously, am more twitchy since losing my 2nd... I'll probably stop after the weekend as long as it's getting darker, as I'll be past the AF due point by then. That might be when it gets real! Still in shock at this point I think, feels very surreal.

Sorry to hear about your BFN, I had them at 9 and 10DPO this cycle (stark white) before getting a clear but faint line at 11DPO. So things can change in a day- if you need to POAS tomorrow, you do it! Whatever gets you through the 2ww I think. Sending lots of baby dust to you ✨xx

Poppydoppy18 · 02/07/2021 07:21

My period was due yesterday (according to Flo app), didn’t come but I just got this result on a digital 😢
Any chance it’s a false negative?

TWW anyone?

@Poppydoppy18 I've heard CB digital take longer to show...try a FRER maybe?

@sunnyside257 I see it!! 😃 Looks promising! How many DPO are you? Was it in the time frame?
