Now, I appreciate it is a strong line, but the instructions say that the first line has to be as dark as, or darker than the second line... To me it looks a bit fainter still? Or should I take that as an LH surge? Kicking myself for not just picking up those expensive smiley flashing face sticks!

For context, this photo is showing the test at 4 mins and the instructions say to wait at least 3 mins before reading result

It's a dark line but definitely still lighter than the test line. this is when you should be testing several times a day to catch ovulation on time. It may be later today or tomorrow. Good luck!!

Thank you so much for your input @VixFromThe6ix. I didn't have time to test last night before bed but did this morning and this one is much lighter. Could I possibly have ovulated late last night or overnight?
