Early bfp on easy@home?

I’ve been using easy @ home tests since 9dpo and have been getting very faint lines which prompted me to think that they were all evaps. but then today’s 11dpo i tested two with my smu and two faint lines quickly came up. then i tested another two in water (bottom two tests in the pic) and they had no line.

this prompted me to use a frer but i got nothing and now i’m wondering what on earth could be going on. are easy @ home much more sensitive?

Easy @ home are quite reliable in my experience, I got my first faint positive on them at 9dpo and at 11dpo now they’re very clear not using fmu and very clear on frer’s too. Get a frer and give those a go to be sure, but definitely looks to me like you’re pregnant! Congrats x

VixFromThe6ix · 19/06/2021 15:44

How many dpo are you now??
I love easy @ home. They never been wrong for me.
I detected my pregnancy at 8dpo on them and saw progression every day.
Issue with testing early is the fact that they also detect chemicals. One of my cycles I got a super light positive and for about a week I kept getting the same colour positive line. It never got darker. That's how I learned I had a chemical.
But seriously, easy @ home are quite reliable in my experience.
Good luck, op!! I definitely see lines on top two sticks, fingers crossed for you!!

thank you! i really hope I am pregnant. I think it’s much clearer now and i didn’t have to invert it or change the clarity at all. it seems to me that it’s possibly getting darker but i’m so afraid of taking my last frer because i’ve only ever gotten negative on those so far! 😭

Definitely can clearly see there is a line!!! This is exciting!!

lailakowalskis · 19/06/2021 16:01

@VixFromThe6ixsounds that’s really reassuring thank you! And so sorry to hear about your chemical 💔

these ones are definitely more prominent than my 9dpo, so fingers crossed it keeps getting darker! I’m glad most people have had a positive experience with easy @ home. i really thought i had a horrid batch and even had a bit of a cry this morning when i thought everything was hopeless.

Praying and hoping 😭

so i took another frer this morning at 12dpo and it was a BFN. then decided to take another easy @ home and there was another faint line. i'm jsut worried i might be going through a chemical, or maybe my hcg levels are far too low to picked up?

Hi @lailakowalskis I’m in the same situation. So just going to wait and see. Difficult to take your mind off it.

toadstool32 · 20/06/2021 18:13

Frer picks up hcg from 6.5hcg whereas easy@home are 10 x

lailakowalskis · 20/06/2021 18:21

@birdbybird really tough situation isnt it? can’t decide if i should be hopeful or not. i hope you get your bfp very soon! update me on how it goes! I’m planning to try a clear blue digi in a few days

I got my bfp on an easy@home. My frer was negative when the clear blue 5 day early digital said pregnant! I don't trust frer..

birdbybird · 20/06/2021 19:48

@lailakowalskis I’m using one of the boots strip tests. Which picks up 25 hcg. I tested with a frer 3 days ago and it was negative.

MrsRosaline · 20/06/2021 20:51

Hey @lailakowalskis. Everyone always recommends easy@home but I've found them quite confusing. I had a line similar to yours, but fainter, I'll link the picture. This was 10DPO and FMU. But everyday I've tested since it's the same, and all the FRERs have been negative. Soo, like you, I've just decided to wait until my period is actually due and use a more sturdy test.

@MrsRosaline yours looks like mine! i took a cb digital this morning and bfn. looks like it’s just a waiting game now!

Yes there are reviews on Amazon that also show similar lines but they are negative!

Turns out I didn't need to wait much longer as my period is here now ☹️

NoseringGirl · 21/06/2021 13:35

It's so difficult in the very early days when your hCG is low and even when it doubles it's not that much so tests can be hit and miss.
I found with my last pregnancy that I got clearer lines in the afternoon/evening! Good luck!

raspberryjamlove · 21/06/2021 13:37

Good luck lovely. A digital would unlikely show up this early x

Leeleejaney · 20/07/2022 16:55

Hello! Hoping perhaps someone is still active. I’m in the same boat. 7dpo by my Flo app but from when I think I ovulated (clear watery discharge that went through my shorts) I would be 9dpo. Used a easy at home strip today but have clear blue and frer for closer to when my period is due, easy at home showed a very faint line much like above.
