Have been using the Clearblue Advanced Connected Ovulation test that syncs to the app on my phone. No luck ttc and now need to buy a new kit.

Is the Clearblue Fertility Monitor basically the same thing, but also tests for pregnancy?

I'm not sure which to buy next? Stick with the one that connects to my phone or buy the monitor. Heard good and bad reviews about both. Any advice gratefully received!

I’ve got the CB monitor because all the reviews I read online about things that connect to your phone are that it’s a real pain to get the connection to work properly.

The monitor is really easy to use and stores all the information about your low/high/peak. (Although I like to write the results in a notebook with my temp/CM/RHR info. There are apps for this I just find writing things by hand easier).

It is worth mentioning that you have to use it for the whole cycle (you start at the beginning of the cycle and then test everyday), it won’t let you just test for a few random days.
For this reason I haven’t actually started using it yet, but I have been impressed with how simple it was to set up and I love the fact it tells you when your LH is high as well as peak (I’ve read some data that you’re most likely to conceive if you have sex a 1-2 days before ovulation so it’s helpful to be able to identify which days these are).
