After an etopic pregnancy 6 months ago. I have just found out I'm pregnant again. The doctors have referred me to the epu for a reassurance scan. I have google a scan at 5 weeks and most times you can't see much and I think that would just make me anxious. Has anyone had a scan at 5 weeks and it has actually helped there nerves.

No. It just makes the anxiety much worse because absolutely nothing can be seen. There’s zero “reassurance “ about it!

After 8 weeks is best.

My doctor did tell me that it would be around 6 weeks, but when I told the midwife my dates she said next week and I will only be 5+2. Thank you for replying @imaginethemdragons

I wouldn't say it'll reassure you because like pp said there won't be much to see, but after an ectopic is it likely reassurance that it's not another ectopic & the baby is growing in the correct place?
